You can still get trap with all that, scammers are not naive and some of them are so smart, I would suggest you that join to bounties that the manager is Sr at least with no negative trust, always check their trusts and  check their reputation.

to avoid some projects that are not good or have gaps to trick you,
You need to see the recognition of some ico filters like
icobench, ico tracker, icoholder and others.
in my opinion it is able to reduce the chance of being deceived.

No white paper task can give up
If the project media does not make any updates, you can discard it.
If they don't record your bounty task in time, then you can give up!

But still, there are plenty of bounty campaigns or simply an ICO project that will go to scam even they have

1. Whitepaper on that project
2. Bought a website with a premium domain
3. Real twitter followers
4. Have an average and  not too high bounty rewards

So in short your tips are baseless and useless either, but it can be used on some project, it's too obvious though.

i agree with you sir, even a lot of bounty canceled their ico when not reached their targets, thats really make disapointed to bounty participant , i guess even whitepaper, premium domain website, clear roadmap, and etc. not guarante that project are not going to scam.

1. If Platform is ERC20, search contract address and details of good project.
As an investor you would really need to check this but seeing a project on erc20 token bases doesn't mean that it would be legit anytime yet there are another platforms as well.
2. Notice the Contract generation details.

Needed but not an assurance
3. initial Coin Value.
Value of each token doesn't matter because it will always depend on the total supply being proposed.
4. Wheather, the transaction is happening or not.
If a certain wallet do have significant incoming transactions then it is really a good indication yet you can able to saw the funds is accumulating.

Hello guys, i'll give u tips for check if the bounty project is scam before u join it
this is not 100% right

1. No whitepaper on that project
2. Website with free domain [example .fa/.ga/ml]
3. Social media not real ( twitter only retweet other  member twitter post)
4. Reward too big ( example :1500$ / week  on social media )program
5. Reply on project only under 100 or 50

That's a helpful tips I may say its true as of my experience. I may also share some tips that i noticed on a scam bounty campaigns. These are
- they have unsecured website.
- they have few participants
- no any updates
- the bounty managers are not active and so are the support team
- Unorganized and unprofessional ANN thread
- not so strick in posting

That's a good tip, but not all scam projects like that, because sometimes scam projects are neatly organized and organized, so it's not all that expensive, but basically the tip above is the first thing you should see.

but sometimes I myself agree with number 4 which I often experience following a bounty which is a big allocation but a scam or fraud that makes me not enthusiastic anymore.

I agree with your opinion, bro, with prizes that are too big but ultimately a scam, that makes me disappointed and there is no whitpaper that I am very suspicious of with a scam project.

I see your tips are not quite right, because there are scam projects they do very sophisticated, and I was scammed by of the  ico projects very professional.
We can not know in advance exactly the projects scam in this market, when it's all on paper and there's no real application

There isn't just a 100% way to find out whether the project isn't a scam. There are real team distributed their tokens and yet they dumped all the tokens they got before the ICO and then abandoned the project. Let this be a reminder to the people who invested on ETHD. Those who thought investing on projects that were listed already on exchanges are still not safe from being scammed.

All right! But still need to look at the team. If there is no team on the site, then the project is likely fraudulent

Yes, bro, so now the Bounty is mostly nothing serious and has a lot of fraud, now the smart scammer devises a strategy for the bounty to be better and better and finally a scam.

If the ICO project looks scammy or suspicious than avoid participating in its bounty campaigns. For this, you have to study carefully the ICO project itself, and making your own research about it. The good projects have a good website with a detailed whitepaper, verified and experienced team, and attractive concept.

I believe everyone in this forum has a lot of sense to detect ICOs, especially those that will lead to scams. But it would be nice for everyone from you who will take part in the program bounty or you are an ICO investor when you have finished making a research you will be good also to create a thread in this forum. You can tell legit projects like in the altcoin announchement section or for a scam project you can report in the scam accusation section. In this way it will make a belief for anyone who is a bounty hunter or ICO investor, or at least will make him calm with the money he has spent.

2,3,4 is a definitely big RED flags.
-Also social media which is not active at all is red flag.
-If you cant find the company in the registry of the according country.
-The business model" buy or tokens, we will give you some profit each month"
-The neglect of KYC.
-Asking for KYC from bounty hunter without legit KYC company.

Even with the registration of .com domain we may find the scam and with white paper also you will be able to find the scam projects for sure.

I really do not understand that why people not going into scam accusation section to see the reported scam projects and pinned threads on that section. It will be more helpful for the people whoever looking to make themselves good in find the ICO bounty projects.

Guys look out for this kind of crap :
Quote
" If the total number of stakes earned during campaign exceeds the cap, we will adjust your stakes based on the following formula:
Your final number of Tokens =  (Bounty campaign pool / Total number of stakes everyone earned during the campaign) * Number of stakes you earned .If not, 1 stake = 1 Eloncity Token (ECT)"

This is how they try to scam us of doing their campaigns for free.
* almost free for peanuts

I think I can add some conditions!
1. The Bounty Manager is also important (this means that your bet can be effectively and on time)
2. There are no updates to social media (no updates for a long time)
3. The group is not active (for example, there is no activity person in the telegram to communicate with others, etc.)

There are many other signs showing you that the project is a scam. They can offer a good secured website, and a whitepaper not detailed nor professional, and a fake team, and without a real product. So you have to check carefully these things too, and make sure the team is also verified and experienced.
