Hi, my name is Michael, and I'm 15 years old. I've programmed for some time now, but recently, I've got interested in cryptocurrencies. Some of my elder friends are traders, and they've given me an idea to create an app for tracking wallets. As a result, I've decided to develop an app that will be useful for anyone who trades ethereum.

I called it CryptoMonitoring and made it totally free. I see it as a useful tool for those who trade ethereum as it can help you predict a price drop before you lose your money. You can add ethereum wallets you want to monitor (big holders of ETH), set a threshold, and receive notifications when it is moved from any wallet that you are observing. As a result, ethereum price’s crash won’t be a surprise for you anymore.

Currently, it is in open beta, and desperately needs your feedback! Since I am a developer of this app, I will be able to implement anything you suggest, because the main purpose of this app is to make your life more comfortable. Here is a link for it in Google Play, install it and feel free to share your opinion and ideas.

Very impressive to be 15 years old and designing great apps like this. Definitely a good concept as well, predicting market movements based n the actions of whales is a great idea. Would be nice if it already came with a pre-defined list of the top 100 EThereum wallets by size. Eventually I can imagine people selling custom lists for this, e.g. a known high profile trader list, hedgefund list, ICO list etc.

Quite interesting and useful for a beginner trader and seems like you give most of your time just to build the application for Android. However, did you paid Google to list your app?

Oh, it’s a really great idea. Definitely, need to add this into the app.
Do you have any useful links for this? I know only https://etherscan.io/accounts but a lot of them are just exchangers’ wallets.

Thanks, yeah, I've spent quite a lot of time creating it since it's my first applications. As for the money, I had to pay Google $25, which I took from my savings, to create a developer account. It's required to publish apps to Google Play.

That is a good idea.  Too bad I don't use any android device.  I hope you will make it on iOS device too, or maybe web version.

If you are really a 15 year old then you have a great future here in crypto if you continue to study more about it. It's an online world and i have doubt if this is really true, pardon me with that. Did you know that there now apps that can mine crypto using smartphones? Maybe some people will be hesitant to install this one cause it might contain malware.

It is indeed impressive that he is able to create such a useful app and then give it away for free. I am 2 times older and I'm still learning to programme, lol. He hasn't even been to college yet and even more impressive is that he is already involved in crypto, this kid is going places I tell you.

This is a very interesting idea. It would be nice to be able to group addresses if it is known that they belong to one person or group of people.
In crypto a lot of fraud. It is customary to provide open source code that we could be sure of no malicious intent. Therefore, I join the request of the user SuiMikira.

I'm not sure if it's legal to use an app that monitors wallets (not trends) after the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), being in force. A lawyer could enlighten us on the matter.  Undecided

Yes, I've heard of this kind of apps. Thanks for pointing out this potential problem of mistrust. I will look for a way to ensure people that my app is 100% honest and doesn't do anything bad behind their backs. Thanks again!

I have tried to install your mobile app but after I tried only to see display of etherscan io after entering the address wallet / maybe I don't understand how to use it, if possible you can give a little guide about this mobile app
Thanks for installing the app and giving feedback, sure, I will provide you with a guide. The first thing you should do is go to the etherscan and copy the address of the wallet you want to track. Then, you can return to the app, press plus, paste the address, and add any name you want. You can go to the settings to change the threshold if you want. The app is now working, and you will receive notifications if the threshold amount of ethereum is moved from a wallet from your list. By tapping on the wallet in the app you can see it's transactions list.
I hope this will help you!

The idea is very good, I will definitely try it. Previously, we used not very convenient sites for this. I'm sure that your project will be successful because I have not heard about analogues yet.

Hmm, I didn't even think that this may be a problem. Yeah, I think we could use some help from a lawyer. It would be very sad if it was an illegal thing to do. Thanks for pointing this out!

That's awesome and great idea, a good help to some investors. But I doubt it will help me though, as I have my own calculations and very often big whales play their own game. You should always have your head on your shoulders, as many times if you follow someone else you start to regret about many things and there is no one to blame. Anyway for 15 year old well done with great ideas
