This isn't a ponzi (and I don't know why OP even mentioned that here). This is just a promo and pirat did allot of those (one for facebook and twitter promotion,one for coming with a slogan and one for just posting your name).
also as far as I see in the thread You don't wait for someone to pay after you or anything but just a type of promo.
