hello everyone
at 14:55 on the 22nd of October i sent some ltc to btc-e. currently on 16 confirms on my end. BTCe admin confirms that ltc deposits show up on their site after 6 confirms.  But they're not showing up.  According to BTC-E admin, it looks likes a problem on the litecoin end of things. Has this happened to anyone else and what can we do?

thanks

EDIT seems this happened to other BTC E users.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

This has not happened to me

BUT

I was sending coins to myself from a new pool I was trying.  Opened up the ltc client, copied my address, pasted it into the pool, and sent my coins from the pool to my wallet.  It never ended up in my wallet.  I had accidentally pasted my BTC-E address (thinking it was my own).  They were there at BTC-E waiting for me.

So maybe you sent the coins to another location on accident...?

Someone on btc-e mentioned that missing transfers where what happens during a 51% attack, does anyone know how to check if that is indeed happening?

Well, I just deposited namecoins from nmcbit.com to my namecoin deposit address on btc-e and after about 15 confirms, their still not there.  So you're not alone.

Don't trust BTC-E if you trade immediately withdraw they are just another 'accidental shutdown' waiting to happen. Yeah LTCs are cheap there ... I know if you want to take advantage of it do, but don't say you haven't been warned!
