Great news, thanks phreakish for your effort, keep us updated, it's important to give updates as people start believing more in the coin...

Ah, and a very tiny announcement, since I took maintainership of this coin and am learning more and more about the code in there I think I may start my own coin in a few months from now, but something that's completely new... not another clone like all these things that appear like mushrooms after a rainy day. I already started compiling a list of ideas about what will be make it unique (have 5 items on it so far).

I'll figure that stuff out eventually lol the idea of creating a coin has always been there just the whole getting there part is where I stop

clamscan shows

----------- SCAN SUMMARY -----------
Known viruses: 3200237
Engine version: 0.98.1
Scanned directories: 0
Scanned files: 1
Infected files: 0
Data scanned: 70.74 MB
Data read: 21.15 MB (ratio 3.34:1)
Time: 17.104 sec (0 m 17 s)

virustotal shows 3/50

2 of which are most likely false positives the other one Id have to investigate more, i think the issue is the fact thats its a bitcoin/litecon clone and connects to irc as a bot which in windows terms is an automatic hey look at me im a virus.

Main function of Virus.Win32.Xpaj is a botnet client which is used by the virus to transmit data from an infected PC (irc)

TROJ_GEN.F47V0303 = not much info on this its mainly attached to trendmicro

Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT = could be a possible backdoor if its making changes in the registry, but is also listed in the vipre ms as a false positive as well.

a cunning and whitty statement to follow.

It's called false positives mate , we've seen them over the course of the crypto history many time and I expect see them many times more , wallet was compiled in Linux cross-comiling environment , just as I compile anyother wallet for anyother currency and been compiling them again and again.
If someone was to get infected , it should be me haha! get hacked and distroyed , Not lol so I believe you are safe and everyone , why 1 Antivirus report a false positive when there's more than 1000 or more people downloading and using the wallet?

You know the answer.

Cheers!

Even a small donation helps... 0.01 BTC is what most of us make in less than a day but buys 200 votes. I think if everybody puts a day's worth of BTC into that address we will hit the top of the list very fast. Also keep voting every hour.

Please Help....

Thank you.

Your blockchain data may be corrupted... backup 66.conf and wallet.dat and delete the rest from the folder... than copy 66.conf and wallet.dat back and start the wallet again. And wait for it to sync (this will take a while)

AltExplorer is now on the correct chain https://altexplorer.net/chain/66Coin

Good job on donating to mintpal, I shall start donating soon as well.

Also increased the share interval on my pool, this should lower database load and allow for more users in the future, until I can afford to upgrade the server.

Announcement: I'm going on vacation and will be missing for a few days (until Wednesday)... When I return I will continue to work on another wallet update.

Depending on how this coin evolves until that time there may be changes in the reward scheme for the coin.

Keep voting, mining and let's take this coin to the moon! See the first post for details on voting and exchanges, leave me messages if this gets on a new exchange or a new pool or you just happen to have a great idea about what the next wallet update should include.

Note: Next wallet update planned for 18-20 March. It will limit the number of coins, include some security patches and may add some changes to the amount of coins released per block. Also I haven't forgotten: It will fix the height issue.
