To whomever is making the micro-buys above market price on cryptorush... please stop!!!! It's useless and annoying cause doesn't let us see the graph clearly. If you want the price of 66 to rise start buying for real at market price, the sell order will disappear and the price will rise!

On a happier note, I tried to set a wall on 3 BTC/66 and after a few sells chipping away at it someone bought everything up to 5 BTC/66, please help me make a wall at 3 so price doesn't fall again.

I have invested in raising the price 0.5 BTC already. A week or so ago I poke the price to 25 BTC easily, with circa 0.4 BTC. Now it would need much more  Undecided
All 66coins I have mined and bought so far I have at 25 BTC on cryptorush. It worth slightly over 1 BTC.

Don't do that, that's silly... don't try to increase the price in one go.... buy only 1-2 lowest orders... choose a price barrier and stick with it... for example buy everything that is below 4 BTC... we need to be able to keep the price constant for at least 2 weeks before you can attempt to make it rise, and when you do you just raise the price barrier a bit... and a few times, a couple of hours apart, buy everything that's between 4 and 6 (for example)... people will notice and start buying and they increase the price for you. You can't do anything alone, it's just too much for anyone (unless you're incredibly rich).
The other way you can make the price rise is setting a wall... for example place an order to buy with all your BTC on 3, that's where I put it yesterday, unfortunately I have little BTC, since I've been mining only 66 for a long time now, and someone already sold their 66 for my BTC and removed the wall, but if we combine powers it shouldn't be too hard... there's currently around 6.3 total 66 in circulation... if we put money on 3 BTC/66 that would mean that 18.9 BTC would be able to buy all 66 in circulation.... since I know for a fact many of you have 66 and are not willing to sell for that little it would probably suffice if we had 3-4 BTC on 3 for the price to rise since I doubt people who are selling own that many 66.

The day is approaching, keep mining, we will try to raise the price of 66 after the 15th of the month!
Remember to keep voting on mintpal.

Also I made another donation on mintpal today https://blockchain.info/tx/22c62917f3740515ed2814c70d1483df079c73162f866a642314cda21c57a68b

A new face could probably help the push:

Anyway, about the trading, few BTC are needed to put the coin on track, maybe we should regroup and talk about a pump strategy, irc?

Great suggestions, keep them coming! I like the second one a bit more, but I think it's a bit cartoonish...

I know a few BTC is not that much, unfortunately I only make about 0.009 BTC/day from mining so that's a bit too much for me alone, that's why I asked for help from the community.

I will release a new wallet update in a few days, we'll see how things evolve afterwards.

We'll talk on irc sometime during the weekend, we'll settle a time tomorrow, need to see how others have time.

Thank you.

I think if more people mine 66 than it will no longer be profitable for quick buck miners to sell and the price will rise... I don't know what to suggest other than giving you hope... If there is interest the price will rise, otherwise it will keep going down till it becomes no longer profitable.

Vote as much as possible on mintpal, I think if we get to be in top 5 coins on mintpal people will start mining because they will expect it to enter the market soon. Interest will rise, price will rise because they will no longer sell a coin that is about to enter a big market.

More simple sample:

First one is good, second one is hard to distinguish on a badly calibrated display... if you can give it a bit more contrast it would be great in my opinion.

Ok, great, thanks... I will include one in the next wallet, if people say which one they like best I will include their favorite, if not, my favorite!

In other news my pool at dig.coinage.ro is now available over https (although it's a locally signed certificate it should still be better than nothing).

With solo mining it's better set expiry 1 on cgminer or 66 like the block time?
