I was really interested in this coin, but I see that some people have serious problems with the owner of the 66hashrapid..can someone do something about it, like really?? Things like this shouldn't be happenning,ok!
They could stop mining there! We have 2 other pools, if they do not respond and they fork again from the chain after the hardfork although announced a week before than I will remove their pool from the OP! That's about as much as I can do, also, if situation continues the same way with cryptorush I will stop listing them as an exchange for this coin as well! The coin has suffered enough due to the issues experienced before! I've been trying to revive it for a long time now but something always happens and keeps it from progressing, twice now the price has risen more than 4 times for the coin and both times cryptorush took the coin down for maintenance and took them days to put it back on (well, they still have to put it back the second time)! Difficulty was at 1.4 and dropped to 0.4 due to them!
As I said before I don't have any intention of letting this coin die so I will do what is best for the coin, if that means discouraging people from using certain pools and exchanges, well, that's what I'll do!

Pikimunga, thank you for taking an interest to help. We should have stopped mining on hashfaster much earlier, but we didn't,because I was't expecting this kind of irresponsibility from the owner of the pool.Anyway, what really pisses me of is the behaviour of the pool owner. I support this coin and I am at the second pool at the moment. I hope that the problem will be solved after all. Best regards

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

There is no p2pool for 66coin at the moment, you're welcome to set one up, I'll add it to the OP gladly!

Does this OpenSSL bug affects the newest 66 wallet? The Bitcoin wallet was updated to fix the OpenSSL issue. Are we safe?

My wallet is not syncinc since block 80066 too. Are new nodes needed?

Sorry for the delay, been away, I'm aware of the problem and am working on fixing it! I'll let you know once it's fixed! You can switch to mining something else until further notice, acceptblock continuously fails!
