Hi all,

I have some dead tokens in my MEW wallet that I don't know what to do with them.

any ideia?

Thank you all

First choose which Crypto you wish to exchange, If the coin you need to sell isn't right now on a trade and on another wallet, for example, Myetherwallet send it to a trade since we will offer it for Bitcoin. On the off chance that the crypto that you need to offer is as of now on a trade then no issue.

Edit: You need to know that the token has been added to an exchanger.

the only  thing you can do to those dead tokens is to stare at them every tine you login on your accoubt, and if your already pissed seeing them then create another wallet.

Only thing to do is just keep them like said they are dead and you don't have any way of selling them. Unfortunately this could be the future of many coins and tokens.

Dead tokens are dead, you can follow up their official website to see if the devs are still active ,if not just forget it and move on maybe someday it can resurrect.
Some coins were like that in the past.

I think you may be able to write off your loss. Check with your CPA if it matters to you.

I have some dead tokens in my MEW wallet that I don't know what to do with them.

My advice: create a separate wallet, call it "shitcoins" and move all these tokens to it.

you should store them in your wallet and wait for something. Maybe those dead tokens worth something in the future. That's my idea.

What you mean with dead tokens?
Blockchain is not moving? No nodes?
Not added at exchange?

Best coins for holding are BTC and Ether. They will never die.

Well, for me dead tokens adds up for the decoration of my wallet, it gives me pleasure when seeing them having no values Grin. I can't do anything, only staring at them hoping to have some value.

Between now and the next bubble is going to be very, very interesting as there'll be a shit ton of projects that die a horrible death.

However when mania returns there's no telling what will be brought back from the dead and pumped. It's a complete and utter lottery but I'll wager that people sitting on 'dead' coins may well get a surprise from a handful of them when someone presses the 'pump' button.

If they're still movable I'd put them on an exchange with an unfeasibly high sell price and perhaps one day I'll get a surprise.

This, although I'd prefer to keep them offline for time being, until there is actually a bullish altcoin market again. It could be years, after all.

Lots of dead coins from 2013 and early 2014 saw resurgences during the 2017 altcoin bubble. When the mania gets crazy enough, the market eventually starts buying up anything that hasn't already pumped. To be fair, that may not be true next time around, now that there are so many more altcoins. I really wouldn't be surprised, though. "Irrational exuberance" to use Alan Greenspan's expression, is a very powerful thing and most people underestimate the degree to which the market will get irrational.

It'll happen again, eventually.

Once something is dead, the next thing to do is to bury it, just dig a grave, lol

You don't have to do anything. Just keep them. If they themselves do not rise in price then sooner or later with the growth of Bitcoin (BTC),Ethereum (ETH) these coins ,tokens can also rise and make a profit.
