I agree. I would be wary of accepting such traitors in my own ranks. When time comes, he will burn his new passport with the same smile.

It looks bad, sure, but it's much easier to understand. I've seen a video recently, so-called Defense Minister scolds officer for "betrayal" when his people rejected the order to shoot unarmed people.

They are not traitors, they are the victims of betrayal. Their direct command betrayed them many times. Instead of solving the problem, their authority were fighting for the positions in offices and ignored all requests during this month. People just got tired of it and followed the new leader. The ribbon on his chest it's a flag of the Republic of Crimea, that's the end of story... And the beginning of another.

The video might be a montage of a rally supporting Radovan Karadžić (look at 1:27 - banner Paдoвaн Кapaџић), with Russian anthem overlayed (if so, Doppler shift when the car passes is done well, or it might be that they indeed played Russian anthem during that demonstration).

In any case, the comments speak volumes. Russian Slavs can count on Slavs from Serbia, just as they can count on Slavs in Ukraine and Bulgaria, Slovakia and Slovenia, Belorussia and Macedonia. And I am not thinking about the governments and official structures, but about the ordinary people in these countries.

Putin never interfered anywhere outside the traditional Russian area of influence. It is the US which is playing the world police by sabotaging democratically elected governments all around the world.
