It was touching watching it. Yes, Serbs and Russians are brothers.

Then maybe Russians should've gone as far as starting WW3 when trying to protect their brothers? Pulling much more might in that region?
From my point of view, sadly, it looked like abandonment.

15 years ago Russia was too weak, just emerging as a state from the shadow of Soviet Union, torn by internal strife, trying to get a solid footing in the international playing field, where US quickly took initiative. If Russia intervened, it could have faced an invasion or economic penalties, that it wouldn't have been able to shrug off as easily as it does now.

I've seen quite a few comments on other Serbian Youtube videos, where Russians ask for forgiveness from the Serbian people for not being able to come to their aid back then.

Russia is much stronger now, so just being there, without using its military power, it will hopefully be enough to prevent NATO from conducting any more invasions a la Yugoslavia.

I kind of forgot about that connection
So can NASA still go to space if I recall correctly they killed the Rocket Program decided to rely on Russian Soyuz and Space X and private industries are still working on space technologies

Three Russians, two Americans, and one Japanese astronaut are onboard the International Space Station (ISS).
Well at least our astronauts and cosmonauts are above blaming each others on country problems Smiley

It seems as purely populist declaration. If so, then it would be funny if RFSA would decide to answer by breaking this connections really.

This is starting to get ridiculous. Some comments from RT:

Quote
Who is in charge in U.S politics, a 8 year old? Because this is way childish. Pick someone else who is a real man, not a boy.

Quote
So people that visit RT needs to open their eyes and see things the way they Are.. Obama and its allies are provoking Russia into a world war to do the first attack.Trying to Isolate Russia (or any other country) is an act of War. Even if they could not fully achieve because Russia have many strong economy allies ,still is an act of war. And it will be a matter of time ,a provocation will be too much and Missiles will start flying from both sides. Only raising awareness and pressuring the western Governments to stop their Economy sabotage to other nations can help avoid a major conflict.

Quote
The west is pathetic, NO Cooperation, but keep sending our astronauts to ISS, and allow us to use your airspace to transport equipment to Afghanistan, and even though we sanctioned the head of your Anti-Narcotics force, do continue cooperation - this is all in YOUR best interest....really?

Sounds like normal Americans (i.e. not politicians) are starting to get pissed with their government's handling of foreign affairs.

And another rather potent comment:

Quote
US government will not permit bilateral meetings, email, and teleconferences or videoconferences? Communication between people ??
This is really shocking for the country that claims that is so democratic.
Will they put US citizens in the jail if they exchange emails ?

Is it slow way of imposing dictatorship inside US ?

Newsflash: Looks like North-Atlantic Terrorist Organisation is gearing up for invasion:
http://rt.com/news/lavrov-ukraine-nato-convention-069/

Oh, and the oft-forgotten fact:
Quote
According to Lavrov, it is necessary to remind the Ukrainian authorities that constitutional reform was written in the February-21 agreement on the crisis settlement, which was signed by ousted president Yanukovich and opposition leaders, including Arseny Yatsenyuk and Vladimir Klitschko, on ending the political crisis in the country. The agreement was witnessed by EU foreign ministers from Germany and Poland.

Here is good news for Russia:

http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-04-03/japan-readies-to-turn-back-on-some-of-its-nukes

Nuclear fuel is Russia's 3rd most important source of Forex, after crude and gas. Last year, they exported almost 40b USD worth of nuclear fuel. If this news is true, that amount will increase.  Grin

Well after that reactors collapse can't blame them for wanting to diversify their industries of course it costs them a lot more to do so happy they are putting them online again

That’s progress, albeit tiny: Three years after the earthquake, 98,000 people remain living in temporary shelters.

I think they call that a house by now lol.

Japan doesn't have too many options. They don't have any gas and they don't have any oil. And their densely populated islands don't have any coal as well. So they have to import all their fuel from the outside. Crude is getting more and more expensive. LNG was never cheap. So the only option left is nuclear energy.  Huh

No that's about right they don't really have much choice Japan is a very resource poor nation the reason they entered into Nuclear in the first place is because it was part of their movements to alternative energy sources after the OPEC Crisis in the 1970s it also helped build a significant part of their industries after they switched from a coal based economy to a oil based one

Energy wise the best resources they have are efficiencies the third fuel although they are highly dependnant on imports of raw inputs
Such as rare earths for their magnets from China etc.
That said solving Japans energy problem really is nuclear or a lot more money unless they find offshore oil why they are fighting for the Senkaku/Daiymo islands tiny Atolls etc to extend their geological shelf

If anything Japan might be able to get power from new tech or innovating industries since their tech base is strong but otherwise finding energy efficiencies and securing their supplys remains a constant challenge.

Well.. Senkaku is under de facto Japanese occupation. They don't have to worry much, as long as the NATO is supporting them.

Yes, completely agree that it's a sure sign of stupidity reigning the world when science gets used a bargaining tool for politics.

An interesting analysis by security analyst Charles Shoebridge on NATO's escalation of military power:
http://rt.com/op-edge/nato-crimea-speculation-on-threat-093/

Quote
... And even yesterday announcing that there would be some form of NATO presence now in countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan and Moldova, all of which, of course, if Russia was doing the same would be called in the Western media ‘escalation’ and ‘provocation’.

Oi, another interesting read, regarding the supposed 1M "loan" from US. As analysed by geopolitical analyst William Engdahl:
http://rt.com/op-edge/us-ukraine-loan-ngo-945/

Quote
RT: Washington is offering Ukraine a one billion dollar loan. Is it a good deal for Ukraine?

William Engdahl: If you look at the details of what they’re offering, they’re not offering a loan of even one billion dollars. They are offering a loan guarantee and the cost of that loan guarantee is that Ukraine submits to IMF austerity like Greece did, and that will simply open up their economy to the final rape and plunder from the West.
But the other point about this is that the debt of Ukraine that comes due this year is a staggering amount. I believe it is some 25 billion dollars that has to be rolled over. And a one billion dollar loan guarantee… it’s hard to know who is more stupid in this piece of legislation: the United States congressmen, who voted for this, or the non-elected government of Ukraine, if they accept this – because it is simply a no brainer on all sides.
