I'm interested in buying. I have to know more about how that site was coded however. 

The site was written in plain PHP and some JavaScript with simplicity in mind, no frameworks were used.

There is a simple admin control panel that allows you to handle manual deposits and withdrawals. BTC deposits are processed automatically using blockchain.info API.

All database access is performed via a single class that handles string escaping transparently, this dramatically reduces possibility that a programmer might forget to escape some input. So there are no arbitrary SQL queries in PHP - all access to the database is done via stored procedures.

There is currently no support for withdrawal or trading fees. Withdrawal fees can be done manually, and I will implement automatic trading fees for you after the purchase.

In regard to the recent event at Polonex - this would not be possible in NxtChg: all database operations are done inside stored procedures and wrapped in START TRANSACTION/COMMIT.

Embarrassing fiasco like this is what you get when you develop without much thinking.

How naive a programmer have to be not to use transactions when dealing with finances?

It would be difficult to bid on code without being able to audit it.  Usually, when you go in to buy a company in the "real world", you get to inspect its books and operations.  Creating a test account and playing around with the user interface is one thing.  Being able to see the quality of the code behind the scenes is quite another.  Will you allow that or would someone be bidding blind on this?

Not sure what I'd expect for almost $7k?  I'd expect to be able to audit the source code to determine what my ROI would be.  If I had to invest another $10k rewritting parts to improve security and add features, that would impact my decision.

One of the selling points is that it's an out-of-the-box exchange - you don't have to setup anything, it just works.

But if I won't be able to sell it by March 15, I guess I could sell the source code, if several people are interested.

Another option would be to open-source it Kickstarter-style. Do we have something like Bitcoin Kickstarter?
