OPENCASH - Born From the Ashes of Centralization

[UPDATED TO SEP 2018]

In recent years we have seen the emergence of multiple bitcoin forks, from Bitcoin Cash to Bitcoin Private, all of which were born as solutions to the main problem: the scalability of blockchain.

Of course, bitcoin is now a speculative business and not a libertarian vision of money. All these attempts to improve the protocol have only led to disruption and accredited centralization at the expense of decentralization.

The real reason why bitcoin was designed by Satoshi was "the freedom" of not having intermediaries and the security of pseudo anonymity. Our interpretation of this enigmatic name is "Born from the ashes of centralization". not an "easy gain for corporations".

We believe that the time is ripe to implement a better protocol, inspired by the other real revolutions: Litecoin, Peercoin, Ethereum and Monero.

We certainly won't favour the ligthing network, the fee market or Segwit and other scary things.

All we have in our minds is bring back to life the original design behind what is now called "bitcoin".

What do we want to propose to you with OpenCash?

Proof of Work: Scrypt-N SHA-3
Proof of Stake: 1% OPH rewarded per coin*year after 30 days
Stake mining: 30 day wait, enabled with checkbox from wallet
Inflation: Limited release rate plus 1% inflation due to the proof-of-stake system.
Block time: 10 Minutes
Block reward: MIN(100, diff ^ 1/6) or variable 0 to 100 based on difficulty
Difficulty adjusts every block
Tor and I2P: Yes
Segwit : No
Lighting Network: No
Fee Per KB: 0.001 (Destroyed)
Fee Market: No
Unique address format : Yes
Premined: 300 coins.

Airdrops? No whales, we want to start again from the ashes....  Smiley

Where is the source code?

We will publish the source code as soon as we have a secure date for the release of the official version.

Premine

OpenCash will come with 300 pemined coins: only the genesis block and the first 4 blocks to confirm the genesis is valid.

We believe that a coin should be issued fairly and that it is not right to have a group of people controlling a large quantity of coins.

Yes, it is true that without a wallet of premined coins, we will not be able to afford to pay the developers, but we believe that people will see the true value of this currency, the vision at the base of bitcoin.

Block Size:

Our users will decide which block size will be the best.

Fast Transactions:

The average OpenCash block takes 10 Minutes.

Inflation:
Limited release rate plus 1% inflation due to the proof-of-stake system.

Note:

As a team of young developers interested in the world of cryptocurrency, we ask you to carefully evaluate the reviews you make to this announcement trying to put a hand on your heart to help us to make a great community project.

Request to the community:

Which time is most convenient for you for the OpenCash launch?
Is there anyone who would like to contribute to the project?
In terms of anonymity, do you think it's right to use only Tor and i2p?
Do you think these details are right?

Seems your project is not prepared yet, your git is empty, no website and WP, you need to change the title with "PRE-ANN".

The project seems to be good, and personally feel that there is still more prospects for development, and hope that the team continues to develop reliably, so that everyone can benefit

We wrote in the announcement that the site is under development and will be published later this evening, also regarding the sources of the project we asked you to ask when to launch the project, a bit like it was done with litecoin at the time.

[UPDATE]

We will publish the source code, bineries and other stuff 5 minutes after the genesis block

To choose the date, respond to this survey:

Excuse me for not being here for a few hours, I will try to respond to everyone at this time.

1 - Fees are low and miners do not decide for the protocol.
2 - Yes, we need a pool after the official release of OpenCash.
3 - We've made an android app for OpenCash.

P.S During this absence from the forum we created the logo and the official website of the project.

I hope this will be a really promising project. A properly constructed road map gives an advantage.
You are ahead of your competitors.
I wish good luck in this direction! Wink
