What exactly can we expect from this fork? Maybe the news has already played ?

I understand. I about what (purely mechanical) can we expect from this fork, who monitors such forks and what followed later: the rise, fall or what?

Intresting news on twitter : From EMC2 team:

"Even though it is not excluded that we might work with Apple in the future, the big news is not about the contract at this time. It is something more important for Einsteinium @einsteiniumcoin"

Great  Wink

I think it's a partnership with NASA just look at how they are retweeting everything from NASA since yesterday just after stating it is not a deal with apple.
That's right. EMC2 will x3 in December

Hey all,

First post on BTC Talk, so ..... hello.

I got some EMC2 about 6-8 weeks ago before it started moving, and I was told that Coinomi supported the upcoming fork. But I see one or two on here suggesting Coinomi doesn't support it. Can someone please clarify, as I'd be majorly p*ssed off if I lost any or all of them.

Currently hodling in Coinomi Android wallet.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

We got confirmation from Coinomi that they upgraded the wallet to Excalibur so you should be ok.
But if you want to be 100% sure we would recommand to keep your coins on your local QT-Wallet, and to backup your keys.

Thanks a lot bluelab.

"so you should be ok".

But ..... I never really like the words "should be" if I'm honest with you !  Smiley

I think for my own peace of mind I'll download the official Excalibur wallet for Mac and send them off there for a few days holiday Smiley  As a relative newbie to all of this, is it OK to transfer them back the next day or wait a few days ?

I could also transfer them to Poloniex or Cryptopia for a day or two I suppose.

Thanks.

Great. Thanks very much Dam29.

Still undecided as I'd hate to lose any, so I may send half to Polo to keep some 100% safe at least. I only have a small holding of 1555 EMC2, so not exactly a whole heap of beans, but it's what that could amount to in future that matters and I only paid 6 cents for them. Superb investment so far. 16x your money back in 6 weeks ain't too shabby. Man, these cryptos are like the wild west all over again. It's like the dot com stocks boom - Part 2.

Thanks very much for the clarification. Appreciate it a lot.
