Good moment to rebuy heavily now.

People lost trust cause of a statement...  Sad  Huh

Time to invest!

Oh yes, the crypto-market is very fickle, anything that may upset the market can easily cause a sudden drop in price especially an announcment that "Something amazing is going to happen" and it turns out to be a damp squid is certainly going to upset a lot of investors.

Yes...it was very poor communication.

Speaking about myself that doesn´t change anything for me. I believe in the concept and invested again after the price dropped so heavily...  Grin

We´ll see...now the Koreans are awake and push a bit.

We at EMC2 want to clarify the announcement. The most important part of our foundation is our community. We would like to clarify that the excitement about Apple, or NASA did not came from the team. We would push it as far as on one of our tweets saying “The announcement is not about Apple at this time” was responded to saying “How great would it be if it’s about Apple”. Needless to say we are sorry that you do not feel that the news was sufficient enough. We would also like to clarify the reason why we said the announcement was mind blowing. These are the reasons we felt it would be this important.

We are changing our mining algorithm. What does that mean for you? Instead of large ASIC companies leading the way with mining we have decided to give that feature back to the community by focusing on GPU systems. This way millions of people across the world in all walks of life can have the opportunity to be profitable with EMC2 instead of just waiting in line behind big business. This is your coin, we don’t want to count on any large mining operation to make sure we thrive. We see the value on making it possible for anyone from an early teen getting into crypto, to a retired adult to trying to earn income.  We truly believe in the “decentralized” concept and don’t want to just be another coin talking about it.

We have never been closer to our BTM partnerships and will be a leading coin in atm withdrawals in the near future. We believe that making EMC2 ready for mainstream adoption is more important than any in-house crypto release.

We are expanding our team to ensure EMC2 stays ahead of the curve in the future of crypto. We want to build a coin that will ensure a good future for our holders and investors and not turn into just another coin on the list. Being the coin leading the way in scientific research, a huge untapped industry, we felt that working on cold storage devices like ledger nano and things like master nodes will help ensure the future of our coin and benefit coin holders.

We also believe that everyone understands the future of cryptocurrency. By getting into the mining rig market now we believe it will also provide profits for our investors in the future and supply a name people can trust in the mining equipment market.

These are all the reasons that exchanges are excited about working with EMC2 and the things we feel like we need to get done to finalize contracts we have been working on with the big names that we all as a community want to see EMC2 working with.

Thank you for all the love and support and we will keep you updated as we advance. Because of the reaction we will never be pre announcing news again. We are proud to be one of the few coins to live up to their word on making the announcement and tried our best to make it sizable for the community. I hope we have helped clarify the reasons no one stands in EMC2’s way in the crypto market!! The next announcement will be direct to social media so keep your eyes on the channel for more to come!!!

Before the "Mind-Blowing" announcement, I believe you guys should have a preliminary timeline in place.  This follow-up clarification is weak, with no new substance, just a repeat of your "MIND-BLOWING" announcement.  No specific, which algo you are going to use, when mining software will be out, atm withdrawals, etc... All AIR.   I wonder how emc2 is going to help science.

As in my previous post, I had list a couple of questions, none answered in your clarification.

Can you please explain to me, how was this different from a textbook pump and dump? The coin was doing nothing for a couple of years. Then comes a cheap marketing trick a picture of a huge brand (apple) and “MIND BLOWING” that is all it takes for this highly sensible crypto environment to explode and start the pump and the next day there is a dump, then the market stayed alive till the MIND BLOWER and now its done! Correct me please if aim wrong.

I was watching and buying this coin from 2014 as I have a science background and found the concept insteresting. My username then was Shifu77, but I find I can’t log in with that account anymore due to something about a hack deactivating old accounts for this site that haven’t been used for a long time.

I had been buying EMC2 in small 20,000 coin batches then through Allcoin as that used to be one of the few coin exchange stocks that carried Einsteinium at the start. In total I bought over 200,000 coins then but lost most of the coins as I was stupid enough to leave them on exchanges that went down.

I also loaded EMC2 funds onto the Einsteinium twitter bot to give out to other Scientists, but I can’t seem t get those funds back anymore.

I’ve been away from the altcoin scene for a few years, and so came back when I saw the price surge on EMC2. Does anyone know if the old Twitter bot commands still work (I just tried it to get my balance, but got no reply).

Having a long standing coin is great, but the current EMC2 seems to have little to do with its original founding concept.

Having a long standing coin is great, but the current EMC2 seems to have little to do with its original founding concept.

I believe the current concept is a bit different from the founding concept, all idea's grow and change once the idea is launched to the masses, I keep buying in to EMC2 as it goes down cause very few coin developers are around to support the coin they launched and EMC2 devs are always working toward making it better for the crypto society, the latest Ann may have not sat well with it's community and investors but as the producers strive to push for a non centralized coin some people might not see the current development as progress yet the move is ripping the control of the blockchain away from corporate entity's - the same corporate entity's that have enabled the launch of btc futures and the same entity's that are working toward a centralized style of crypto trading that the top 5 are experiencing as Billions of dollars are beginning to flood the market, EMC2 is not bound to a central government and with it's mining going to GPU it will allow anyone in the world to hash  EMC2 and profit from those of us that use it, buy it, trade it, hodl it, and even from those that just like it without holding it but believe in decentralizing currency.
A coin like this to move into a GPU environment might seem like suicide to some that have no idea of the work behind decentralizing the currency of the world, but, to some of us it is the biggest move a popular coin can make in these day's as other coins strive just to be  a top tradeable crypto coin.
I personally would like to shake the hands of the team behind EMC2 and let them know that in these times of high stakes I admire their efforts of keeping the power amongst the people.

(The people have never had power, Power to the people)

Chris

Right... Take a newbie response as legit advice, this guy is definitely a master of understanding of decentralized crypto.
Pretty sure after this new dudes advice I won't be pumping any more LTC into this coin.... or any other Altcoins that are searching for a decentralized option for crypto's,

On the other end- - - follow your gut, listen to your own advise, it works for me.
