MONEYNET Launches ICO: Blockchain-Based Social Network Platform

MOENYNET, one of the major cryptocurrency communities in Korea, has announced the launch of an initial coin offering (ICO) to introduce an incentive-based social network service using blockchain technology. MONEYNET Token sale had taken place from August 20 and early bonus rates will apply for early contributors up to 20%.

Implemented by blockchain technology, MONEYNET’s new social network service allows users and creators to acquire rewards called MONEYNET Coin (MNC) while using the service. In doing so, it creates a new path of profit generation for both users and creators. And given that high-quality content should result in more rewards, the overall quality and level of content will be improved. In addition to content creation and curating, users can generate extra profits by watching advertisements or participating in various promotional events and marketing campaigns.

“We are aiming to build decentralized a social network platform where users and quality content creators can gain fair compensation,” said Yousik Kim, CEO of MONEYNET. “Users and creators don’t deserve current platform systems controlling not only contents access but also revenue allocation.”
