Does this count as sig spamming?
I just visited the Speculation sub & I noticed user ‘websoftwareengineer’ was the last poster in lots of the most recent topics. There are 20 posts in an hour.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1075757;sa=showPosts

Take a look at his profile actually, he does exactly the same every week. 20 today, 20 posts in short succession - 20 on the 14th August, 20 on the 8th August. Clear sig spamming & abuse, no?

On my phone so sorry for the way I’ve screenshotted.

We can't tell that a user is a spammer just because he/she is the last member who posted in almost all threads unless we see his/her posts. By looking at this user's post history, I can "a hundred percent" tell that this user is spamming speculation and just posting for signature.

Nice catch, it is clear that this user is abusing and spamming the forum. Anyway, have you tried to report this guys already? I rarely visit speculation but I'm sure that I will also notice it if I ever I visit it.

I mean its not the fact that they are the latest poster for a lot of the threads, because that's kind of normal behavior when you come online you pick the interesting topics/discussion, and normally participate in them in quick succession. Although, they have posted in almost every thread...

Honestly, its the fact that most of his post history is generic comments, and add nothing to the discussion or bring up anything interesting.

That's for the signature campaign manager to decide. If he/she found disobeying the rules that's been set then it's decided.

Unfortunately, a lot of the managers that are running bounties have no clue on what should they be looking for...

If you ask me, if the managers would be tagged (or banned) for paying spammers this forum would be in a better shape right now.

Yeah, it's spam, but he is just a typical bitcointalk poster these days. Most users just quickly write a generic one/two liner then move on to the next thread. Rinse and repeat. Do this over however many accounts you have = much profit. They're obviously not here for a discussion or to contribute; they are just here to earn and time is money. Why write any more than a sentence or two when that's all you need to do to get paid? Anything more or extra is just costing them both time and money. Just look at his post history. Not a single post within the last hundred that is more than two sentences. Compare his posts to mine. Anyone who is here just to earn will look like his. Anyone who actually contributes something will look like mine. Nothing wrong with one liners or getting paid to post but when your entire history is them it's blatant that he is only making them to get paid. Remove signatures and he would likely leave the very same day never to return.

That's for the signature campaign manager to decide. If he/she found disobeying the rules that's been set then it's decided.

Well the issue here is that most campaign managers do absolutely nothing and hence why the forum is full of shitposters or at best one two liner 'hit and runners' like this guy. I call them that because they hit up a thread, make a post, then disappear often never to return or reply to anyone who may have quoted them. That's too much effort. Hit and run over and over.

We can't really tell if he or she is really spamming just because he or she just posted 20 posts per day, if you will analyze the data of each bounty hunter here and also his data, you can say that he is spamming because that is the typical bitcointalk poster these days, a usual one or two liner posts.

Given the interval on the users posts it's could be considered as spamming or post bursting, and it seems that he only post solely for the purpose of meeting the required post of the campaign.

If you ask me, if the managers would be tagged (or banned) for paying spammers this forum would be in a better shape right now.

I agree, given the current situation, this is clearly a neglect of duty on the part of the manager/s or there's must be a way on how should a manager be sanctioned for it? since some of the managers somehow acknowledges these practices, focusing only on how to advertise their campaigns and disregard the quality of the post.

You should not give up on cryptocurrency, it will still pump up just like what happened last year and invest right now while the market prices are still low.
This is a typical rah-rah "bitcoin is great" shitpost.  I would also say that when you see a single user making this many posts in such a short period of time, yeah it's spamming.  Looking at his most recent posts, they're of very low quality and obviously very little thought or effort was put into them.

We can't tell that a user is a spammer just because he/she is the last member who posted in almost all threads unless we see his/her posts.
Most of the time, when one user is making the majority of the most recent posts in a section or in multiple sections, it's obvious what's happening.  This is a case of that.

Surprise, surprise.  That member has earned zero merits, and his account is over a year old.  Too bad he can't be banned for this shit, but at least he won't be ranking up anytime soon.

This is a pure spamming nothing to argue with.
Just look at this data.

- August 24:
number of post  = 20
Posting time: just within 1hr 30mins
Time interval per post: between 1 min  - 12 min
All post are just in speculation board

-August 14:
number of post = 20
Posting time: 1hr 14mins
Time interval per post: between 1min - 8min
All post are just in speculation board

-August 8:
number of post = 20
Posting time: within 1hr 59 min
Time interval per post: between 1min - 21min
All post are just in economic board

There is an obvious pattern the way this user is posting.
Just see for your self.

Basically this person is posting just within a span of less than 2 hours

With an interval of less than 30 mins gap per post and for only 1 board.

He is been doing that for a quite time already

In my opinion this user deserves a ban

Edit: just came across with another person doing the same pattern.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1075908;sa=showPosts;start=20

It only shows again how rampant the spamming is. In Economic , speculation  and alt coin discussion board.

I think it isn't wise enough since red-ve being applied when he scam people.

IMO, banning is the best punishment for spammer, period.

We can say it a hundred times, but restrictions need to be applied on those who can run bounty campaigns if we are going to tackle this issue. There's no other way I see the forum dealing with the issues that the promise of free money/tokens brings.
