I'm not really an expert, but if the transactions are not confirmed, that means they are not in the blockchain, so the funds should be available for other transactions. It's just your wallet keeps them tied up because they are part of a transaction that it thinks is legit.

What I would try is to export the private keys from your wallet,  the original one that sent the coins, and import them in a fresh wallet installed on different computer. Or if you can't do that then export your private keys, and rename/move the folder %APPDATA%\Marscoin . After you do that, start the wallet again and import the private keys you exported previosly. My guess is that the funds will be available for resending.

To export your keys, do this:
dumpprivkey <marscoinaddress>
for each marscoin address you own.

To import them back in after you move the marscoin appdata folder, do this:
importprivkey <marscoinprivkey> AddressLabel true

If that does not work, you can just rename/move the folder back into the original location and you will be back to the old situation. Just make sure you backup any files/folders you mess with so that you can restore if anything goes wrong. Especially your %APPDATA%\Marscoin\wallet.dat Smiley

If that helped, my LTC: LXgSwNVJQDYBzLUGWaJVhvAdbzWBt6W7Dg or MRS: MDUAD35gE1vtFUVxAgNEzzbgb3rCnSi4pm Smiley

I havent given up yet....

the MRS blockchain explorer shows them STUCK in the blockchain, but 0 confirms
they have been stuck in blockchain for quite some time now Sad

luckily I had a few backups of the wallet.dat

because I had solo mined alot of MRS when it first came out,
what I didnt realize is that there is like 1000's addresses in the wallet:

looks like every solo-mined block used a "new address",
and just dumping the privkeys for the addresses
that showed up using the   getaddressesbyaccout ""   command
must not have listed them all.

using the   listaddressgroupings   command, it revealed ALOT more addresses

I was able to find literally 1000 addresses in a backedup wallet,
but 1000s of addresses is too much work to dump & import keys 1 by 1:

so I wrote some linux bash scripts to save all addresses to a text file,
then another script to mass dump the privkeys of all those addresses to a txt file,
and then another script to mass import all those priv keys into a fresh new wallet.dat

I am resycing the blockchain now to see if the "lost coins" will show back up....
it is also taking a very long time to import 1000s of privkeys, lol

im crossing my fingers and saying my prayers - lol.

I also just lost alot of BEN coins trying to send to cryptsy.....
cryptsy showed them as pending, but still 0 confirms after 48hrs!
but managed to recover them all... Smiley
So there still may be some hope for the MRS...

If my Marscoins show back up in my wallet, I will be sending you the LTC bounty for your help :-)

looks like if your coins get stuck in blockchain with 0 confirms due to insufficient fees for miners to confirm / relay TX

you need to immediately use that   listaddressgroupings   command,
and then dump the privkeys for ALL addresses it reports.

stop the wallet client from running
rename wallet.dat to something else,
delete blockchain files
restart wallet client
import all the dumped privkeys
wait for blockchain to download
say a prayer!
and hopefully lost coins will be recovered.

F-ck! Angry

guess they are gone for good.
wallet still thinks those stuck coins were spent,
probably because they are still stuck in the blockchain with 0 confirms.
that f-cking sucks

i noticed brainwallet has a way to get back BTC,
but apparently not for MRS --- no way to resend raw TX's with higher tx fees. d@mnit
