In agreement with the above posts. First rule about Merit club is don't talk about it! It makes it look as if you have made this thread specifically for the intention of receiving merit as opposed to actually being useful, which is a shame really as i'd have considered meriting your post if indeed you have went to the effort of actually posting useful info.

You've kind of shot yourself in the foot here buddy, so i hope you will learn from this. Just enjoy the forum, look and learn and don't obsess over getting recognition to your posts. It'll come naturally if you post naturally.

It's not prohibited since merit is not moderated. The better term should be discouraged than prohibited because this will encourage new users to leave a merit reminder at the end of their posts.

Merit begging is not in the rules however DT members might tag you if they think that your merit begging is getting out of hand.

Yes, firstly I posted it on altcoin discussion board, but it was a mistake because nobody needs guides there - it's more conversational place, and the educational/guide/review threads quickly go down without getting the attention and thought that this post will be more useful here.
