Notification does not work - pls help

Hello! please advise why I don't receive notifications when a new thread (topic) appears here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

There are no notifications in the spam folder of my email box as well.

Is it because of some problems on my Gmail email side or on the bitcointalk side?

Have you checked the settings under your profile-> notifications and email.

It is on the left hand side of the page under modify profile.

You will see a dropdown box that has options regarding when you want to receive notifications, you'll want to change it to "replies" or "replies and moderation"

In addition to what "Steamtyme" posted:
- If you never got any emails for enabling the board notification, perhaps you should double check the email field on your "Account Related Settings" but if you've got some then didn't receive emails for other new topics, it's related to your behavior on this forum (you have to check that board and read some of the topics, after that you'll be getting new notifications for some):
