This coin is now dead... mostly miners were left holding coins that they can do nothing with.

I was thinking to restart this coin, but with more activity and honesty this time.

Does anyone thing this would be a good idea or not?

I have now forked the original Banknotes source code, I'll be defining the new coin parameters with my team
this week, build wallets and prepare to launch the coin again.

The coin will be PoW, then swap to PoS + Masternodes. However, the PoW phase would be extended to build
confidence in the coin and the team.

In this respect, we will publish the coin details before launch to allow review and acceptance.

Discord group will be created soon after wallets are ready for use.

Please let us know who is holding coins for the old Banknotes coin.

We are trying to establish how to move forward with existing coin holders of Banknotes, perhaps even create a new distinct coin and allow everyone to swap to a new
coin might be the best way forward. I would guess that one for one swap is the most beneficial for everyone. However, there cannot be any refunds if payments
were made to the Banknotes Dev guy, who disappeared...

What do you guys think, would this work?

He stated (DEV) in discord that he lied and never sold any coins via presale

If he lied about that, then he can lie about other things...

If you hold old coins it's OK, as we will swap the old ones to the new coins at no cost, except for time cost to manage
everyone. (No costs to you, only to us in time to swap )

We need some time to get the new coin ready, make enough coins for the swap and then we can open PoW for
miners.

I volunteered to be a community manager / moderator.
The owner was always absent and did not answer my doubts.
And I could not answer the doubts of the members who arrived at the server. He tried to pre-sell packing stakes, but to no avail. He lied about sales, saying it had been sold as a marketing strategy to encourage new buyers, but to no avail. He was out of time for the project and dropped the coin.
