I think some sleeping giants are Byteball and DOGE, as we know that Byteball and DOGE are old coins that have been tested and supported by a very professional team, I'm sure when the market recovers then Byteball and DOGE will skyrocket.

There's a lot of coins that had a great potential, doge is also good but I believe almost all altcoins with a promising features will be rise by the end of the year. And it's better to do not expecting too much.

It's getting a huge pump caused by the ethereum was working on the cross blockchain platform with doge coin. But you can't expect a lot from there because i have no seen any usefulness from there. just like you can get cheap transaction fees when you are using doge blockchain. That's the only point to create a cross blockchain platform.

From my point of view there are rhousands of coins that do nothing new. Change of logo and blocktime and thats basically it. Those will day and only coins developing new technology and with great usecases will survive the coming purge

I think keywords will be cross chain integration/compability, (real) dex and new ways of interacting with hardware devices in order to make use of blockchain and a coins ecosystem besides transfering value. Like epos. The medium article i found here about it blew my mind. The only coin coming to my mind fitting these criteria is XSN. Still undervalued and at 20% of its ath. I think it has great potential for the next bullrun

So you mean the sleeping giant is bitcoin? It was reached $8000 too before and people thought it would be reached $10k but the fact it's not. Bitcoin started to dumped again and stable around $6.5k

You can't be sure of that and that skyrocket wasn't even expected so for upcoming months there's a chance that it will happen again. If the devs of it didn't abandoned it then that can be proven that its one of the best coins now. But although it doesn't have that anymore look on how popular it is and how big the community of it, people do really love Doge but not other coins.

Yes, I think it can happen but not for a fast time, I think the market movement is still under observation, there are no convincing signs to go up gradually.

Pure speculation. Not shilling but I am holding this coin so DYOR and don't take my opinion as a financial advice  

I'm placing my bet on LoyalCoin, their use cases are for Loyalty rewards and as of the moment big merchants are now partnering with them (most of them are from the Philippines). They are running on NEM Blockchain, for fast and secure transactions, they also have a great team so improvements are an easy word, though they have a lot of supply "9,000,000,000" LYL in total, I think with their use cases, it's value could rise.

After a good growth of a coin, some people who declare it a new Ethereum or Bitcoin, although there are no objective reasons to think so. This is the same situation, I don't see a reason to grow 30 times.

I think Cardano is one of the Titans that are in a coma, cardano prices tend to be stagnant and like no significant development, but the technology they develop is much more difficult because it seems slow, but some experts believe that cardano technology will be useful in the future

Would go with STRAT.  Seeing the development, the future plans and attitude to the project, it seems like it will be a huge project with actual real life usage.  Their development roadmap says the same

I second OST. I feel like the project has a real application and will pick up in 2019. It seems they are starting to work on PR as well having recently joined Blockfolio's signals.
