Hello Folks,

My name is Weaver, most of you guys here have heard of me. Anyways, today I'm posting to let you know that I'm no longer going to be promoting BTC On Tilt.

I joined up with the guys a couple of months ago when the site was still in its infancy. I eventually grew to love it like it was my own. However, I believe that the site has grown up. My services are no longer needed at BTC On Tilt and so, I must let it go off on it's own.

Now before you start shouting that BTC On Tilt is going to crumble to the ground, the owners of the site have brought in some new talent and upgraded to a professional client, I personally do not worry about the future of BTC On Tilt, in fact I look forward to seeing it grow. However, my part in it is regrettably over.

It's been a blast playing with you guys,

-Weaver

Hey let's look at the positives to this. Once you sign up at BTConTilt and make a deposit, you will have a very difficult time losing your money, unless you want your Bitcoin back, in which case the accounts screen will say "Pending" until they shore up their accounts to honor the withdrawal request. My massive withdrawal request of 0.98 bitcoins is understandably taking some time to process..

I enjoyed btcontilt while it lasted and Weaver was an excellent and helpful admin there. Hopefully they'll make a strong comeback, the new software once implemented seems pretty solid, but every day that goes by makes it seem more iffy

Weaver is sketchy and will never acknowledge the real problems at BTConTilt.
They dont need his services because the site has crashed and ALREADY CRUMBLED you genius.

Also, the price of BTC crashed because the community did nothing to support it, and that just turns all new users away from getting into BTC.

BTConTilt really gets under my skin that they are such failures....  How could they fail so miserably.  Oh, the days when they were gaining full tables and new players were showing up by the day, but the site began to crash day after day for weeks, so yea, thats that story Weaver....

You guys fucking suck at hosting an online poker site, duh

I don't think you have any idea how hard it is to host a poker site. It's not my job to say nice things about the competition, but BTCOnTilt invested a large amount of cash in upgrading their software. They suffered under DOS attacks and all kinds of shit for a long time and I'm sure they took a beating. They could have folded like a lot of others, but they didn't. They anticipate (rightfully, I think) that the day isn't far off when the US poker market runs out of their last few alternatives like Paylinq and other shady crap, and figures out how to buy Bitcoins. They're well positioned for that. They came under attack right when Seals launched, and took a beating. I didn't too much care for the way Weaver did business, but having talked with the execs over there I know they're serious, that they've got a tough road ahead of them, and they're doing their best by their players. I never heard of them delaying a payout or screwing over a player. I don't particularly envy them, because poker is one of the most difficult business models to run successfully even under good conditions where the currency doesn't collapse by 90% in a month. To say they had something to do with that is stupid. They suffered from it along with everyone else, but they're still running. So are we. Poker requires constant outflow in freerolls, and huge amounts of time and money to run something that brings in a very low margin. If this proves one thing, it's that BTCOnTilt has the financing behind it to hold players funds safely, which is more than FullTilt could say.

Furthermore, blaming them or another merchant, or the community at large, for the fall of the Bitcoin price is just crazy. The community's job isn't to prop up the price, it's to trade it out to its real value. It was overpriced and underserviced. Now b.o.t. is trying to do a good job of putting their service back together and drawing in attention from outside players that the currency needs, and you're attacking them just 'cause you're pissed the market went down? Or what?

Maybe the poker sites don't have enough traffic 'cause you're not going out and telling people to play in Bitcoins. A couple thousand poker players trading in and out right now would probably double the daily MtGox volume.

If you're an American though, you might not have a lot of other choices pretty soon. Bitcoin's underground, the poker sites are underground, and there's no way they can compete with huge sites like party poker. I'm not sure why you've got hardcore beef with them, I'm guessing there's a good reason, but it doesn't mean this won't be the way kids will be depositing for poker 5 or 10 years from now.

Oh this guy is such a little bitch he cant even hear someone speak the truth?

"shut up faggot"  <---?   What do you have the mind of a 5-year-old?  This is the best you can express yourself?   Fucking loser you are man.... to just be scrolling the site to leave random worthless comments because you are personally irritated that the site failed.

The bottom line is the bitcoin poker sites failed.  There is zero traffic has declined over the past few months to ultimately end up at nothing....  There is no one playing.... 8 logins on seals.com and 12 at btc on poker.  No one is even seated at a table on btcontilt.com  its a fucking joke.

I could care less about bitcoin, and only used them to play poker, but I def wont be wasting my time ever again.....

Im sureyou guys will be saying the same shit when btc is worth like $0.05 each and that everyones in good position to blah blah

Im done here...  Its funny to see the sites fail so miserably

You must be new to the internet.

Also, Weaver left after months of pressuring him to get out of gambling.

I leave worthless comments to mock worthless comments.

Because Im not going  out telling people to play bitcoin poker?    You are fucking delirious man....

And actually, I did tell many people, and most people tried out the sites for a day or a week and saw that it was a joke.  The sites constantly crashed, and players were always scarce.  Now, there are not even players....

enjoy guys, enjoy....seriously, your little made-up bitcoin gambling world where you are all in great position to capitalize on the market, lol

Dude - call me. "Josh Strike, I want to have a freeroll with 30 of my best friends". I'll set it up for you. Where have you been?

Thanks for the kind words, and yes we are very serious about our site and business.  We've invested tens of thousands of dollars in this.  Those DOS attacks really hurt us and at the time we made the decision to just stop supporting the poker mavens platform.  Poker Mavens is great for what it is but has the limitation of only being able to support 100 or so users.  We want to position ourselves as a commercially viable option once we are totally finished with the programming and design of our site.  Look at pretty much all the bitcoin gambling sites sans Strike Sapphire.  We look like we were done as a high school programming assignment.  We're going to finish up our brand new website design in the next week or two and then start advertising outside of the bitcoin community.  I will tell you this, we firmly believe in the potential bitcoins has and its the reason why we are putting in all this hard work and money.  I'm not going to say which, but there will be a feature article in a prominent gambling magazine in the January issue.  I gave an interview for it but having not seen the article, I'm not sure what spin they will put on it.  Good or bad though, publicity is publicity and it will help everyone in this forum and even the bitcoin community.

And Weaver stepped down for his own reasons not related to our company.  He did an amazing job and I've been messaging him every week to see if he will come back.  We really appreciated his efforts and hope sometime in the future he can come back.

Pay cloudflare.com $20/mth to scrub your traffic and never have another DDOS attack again. Even just using their free service mitigates almost everything people can throw at you
