AltCoin spam is getting out of control, They need their own forum

More than half of the threads on the Bitcointalk.org forums is Altcoin chatter, whats worse is that a new altcoin is released everyday so trying to ignore it all is very hard
These are the Bitcointalk.org forums, not Cointalk.org it's BITCOINtalk.org So why is majority of the chatter about alternate coins? (rhetorical)

Could we stop allowing all of these alternate cryptocoins to pollute the Bitcointalk.org forums?

Ignore the altcoin sub forums in your preferences or just don't use the show new posts link. I never use that anyway because it brings up so much irrelevant crap and I just manually check the boards for topics of interest instead.

It used to be better 2-3 years ago, when there were 1-2k posts/day, and not as many shitcoins.
