This year was not good for bitcoin, because the price was not rise much of that familiar. Its unpredictable because it may rise or may not, but all are expect next year the rise will be increase.

With next year's expectations, it would be a worst case if bitcoin will rise in that year. As I can see it's too far if we will expect too much looking forward for bitcoin pumps in the start of 2019. Maybe it's better if we think of 2018 demand to rise, rather than thinking about bitcoin to surge during new year because it will suddenly be dumped by panic sellers and bounty hunters.

I wonder why you people do not give any source for your predictions. Did you perform any survey, did you analyze the market? On what basis you are giving your predictions. I think the market needs adjustment because this year so many panic hands lowered the market, and the market took a long time to recover. At the beginning of 2019 I think crypto is still in a reasonable condition like this and has not been able to provide a high price spike.

Judging by the long term charts it looks likely that this Fall the crypto market and bitcoin in particular is going through the turnaround from bear market to bull market. The chart should look like a cup when looking at highs of the whole cycle, and that is exactly what this year looks like. the highs have been getting lower and lower but are leveling out obviously above the firmly established ~$6000 bottom. We are now at the beginning of where that cup levels off to the horizontal before heading back up the other side. So yes very likely Bitcoin will be rising by the beginning of 2019 and we'll be at the start of the next probably 2 year long bull market. Personally I think the next couple months will be hanging around the bottom in the 6 and 7 thousands, and before the end of the year we'll see a bear-market-breaking move back into the 8000s at least, thus breaking the lower highs pattern that we've had since the beginning of the year.

Today I just put a tiny bit extra money into crypto (all I can afford right now) for the first time since the beginning of last November because I think it is becoming clear that we're at the end of the bear market but still right near the bottom of the market, so buying right now gets you in just before the next 10-20x rise happens over the next couple years.

We hope so. Its been a year down if it is not going to rise next year. The price is constant and its better to be like that than to consecutively broke down. Its been a lot of months since the flat down so i suppose its direction is either up or stay at its price. 2019 would be a good breakdown year for this.

I believe even if it's in 2019, over time, everything will be even better than where we are now. We can't say specifically how 2019 will be valuable, we can hope that this will be a better year than this is in terms of btc value and the opportunity to get good profits from it.

   Its good to be an optimistic mate. There is no doubt that bitcoin will arise even better this coming 2019 and reach the desirable peak ,maybe $30k or more over.  Even the reamaining months of this year has a huge of chances that bitcoin will start to progress the development prices. Exactly, people should keep trust in the market in order to overcome a positive trend in the market and it seems there won't be any bullish in this year according. In the beginning of the next year, we might see positive approach towards the market.

I don't think the current bitcoin price is growing fast because many new altcoins are now becoming new "pumps" and many investors leave the market for fear of being cheated!
