It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bankruptcy stops civil actions.

It does not stop criminal investigations which is where this is headed.

Hi guys,

Being one of the people that deposited in the late days clearly when they knew they had no coins, I'm considering doing what others have done and going to Shibuya to file a fraud complaint with the jcops.    Is anyone else considering the same?

What are your thoughts.

cheers,

Good idea. You can file a criminal complaint on my behalf also if you like.  Grin

Speaking of fraud I assume people still have copies of the email Gox sent out a couple weeks ago where they said they were not operating a fractional reserve?
