The process of money creation in Bitcoin - referred to as mining - involves executing software that utilizes your hardware running certain criterion is met. This part of the mining process is called generating a "Proof of work". The whole mining process also has a critical role in processing transactions and providing security to the network.

SCAM??

Even if not, I don't see the value in this project. Used a very old algorithm, which was used in a huge number of coins. And there are no innovations that would make the use of this coin convenient or reliable. I think some people just have nothing to do with your old ASIC) Perhaps I am wrong, but then let the team tell us about the features of the coins.

The future belongs to new up-to-date algorithms!

It looks like bigbitex.com has been down for maintenance for days, maybe weeks now... Does anyone here know what's going on? Have they been hacked?

Not really, down since a week ago...
Scam or hacked.
Can't really see other option.
Maybe the first, otherwise they would communicate at least.
