My role of thumb:
If you do not need the money immediately do not sell. Or if you need money to get out of debt or something definitely sell. But if you do not need the money, HODL. Look at it as an investment. Bitcoin value will soar in 2018. You will have a better chance of selling down the road.

You could choose to sell some bitcoins now and use the remaining to invest in other projects that have a promising outlook. That way if the market dips further you could use the free funds to buy back in at a lower price but you have to keep in mind the crypto market is very volatile and bad news can trigger massive sell offs. But good news can also have the reverse affect. Just make sure you do your research and set up a plan so you can follow through.
