In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world?

Fiat is necessary, not everyone has access to electronic money. Fiat exists throughout human history, replacing it with great difficulty. Bitcoin can grow in parallel with fiat rather than completely replacing fiat.

Fiat currencies definitely aren't necessary, there is an increasing trend towards digitization of currency, and blockchain based currencies are just the next generation of this. The problem is that Bitcoin came out, and everybody treated it as the successor to fiat currency, rather than an incremental improvement on digital currencies such as Paypal and Skrill. I think that if Bitcoin was never invented, but somebody like Paypal had implemented a blockchain technology first, then we wouldn't be in the rivalry scenario that we're in now.

Those who believe that the existing conventional currencies of states are not needed with the advent of crypto currency, apparently. absolutely not oriented in the basics of the economy. The economy of the state and its national money are inextricably linked. National money can not simply be abolished and switched to the use of money, which will not reflect the state of the economy of this country. This is absurd.

Yes fiat currency are still important. And in some place they are more important then that of digital currency and cryptocurrency. i wouldn't want to say fiat is not necessary, considering the fact that so many coins are springing up on a daily basis to address real life situations, but before we begin to see the irrelevancy of fiat, we should consider the fact that not everyone are cryto inclined, until the world is abraced with the functionality of crypto currencies, fiat is still necessary.

I am still believe paper money or fiat money still needed. In several country, with bad internet infrastructure, people can not use cryptocurrency and the best option for them is using paper money. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.

Of course, Fiat is necessary, its always been. We used Fiat in a long time ago and until now we still usimg it everyday. Even though today we have a cryptocurrency we still need fiat. Why? Fiat currency is here and necessary because they came first before cryptocurrency. All country of the world use this fiat currency, all county legalize it. Fiat coins are absolutely necessary, for example if you spend with bitcoin and its value changes hourly, it is totally unreasonable. A fiat currency supported by the government is needed at the present time

Economy doesn’t depend only on fiat currency. There are many factors which affect economy of a country. Anyway I want to tell that fiat currency is very important for businessmen especially small businessmen. They mostly use fiat currency. The difference is this that fiat currency is not used by ordinary people and cryptocurrency is used by everyone and in the future crypto will take place of fiat also.

i think so. cryptocurrencies are based on blockchain technology which is totally decentralized and can not be controlled or protected by any organisation or regulation. there are some cases that financial items have to be controlled by governments.
