What is the Future of Bitcoin In 2019?

I only have one hope. I hope that this year Bitcoin can land on the moon quickly, so my wallet can stop bleeding. As for next year, I am not interested!

Yes it will actually reach moon again and will have higher prices, just like what happened in the past, bitcoins always pumps up so keep on investing when the market prices are dumping.

This is unpredictable technology as the price will be base on the supply and demand. If we can get a good news then we can see a good rally as more investors will buy bitcoin but in the other side this can go worse if we have bad news as people will get panic and sell their coins at losing price. For 2019 it's not clear if we can have a good market but let's hope that bearish trend will end this year and next year will be good to us.

If you following 2016 to till know but you can't understand the Bitcoin potential. Last year
We will see the good result in Bitcoin and altcoin but this year lot of issues are affected in crypto market.
So next year some positive hype is possible on Bitcoin so long term investment is right decision in Bitcoin investment.

I do not think price will go high like last year but i will keep investing.Yesterday bought 0.60 BTC .Hope this will give me some profit.

Bitcoins is not hold for investment purpose but as a source of remittance for peers online is what I use it for. In 2019 bitcoins will see more newbies coming onboard since a lot of people are curious about investing in bitcoins.

In my opinion bitcoin still good for investment for now but If the market can't recover until the next year I am not sure people still want to buy bitcoin for investment. This year is not too good for crypto currency, the market more often fall than goes up. We need the market to increase so that people will have interested to buy more bitcoin

Hey no one can predict bitcoins future with an absolute certainty, all one can do is look at the charts see how it behaved at this particular time of the year. If you're following bitcoins prices since the year 2016, you would have seen how it rose due to positive news, bitcoins future being approved and high public sentiments, however lately a lot of fud came in and the prices went down. I'm holding my coins, and I believe I'll be rewarded in the long run, even at current prices, I would say the prices are affordable and under valued, you should definitely consider investing in it, buy at every dip and make a average of your holdings.

My guess for bitcoin is that it will look like 2017. There will be a powerful pump within 1-2 months and the price will exceed  20000$ if possible.
This is my personal guess and I hope my predictions will be correct at least 50%

What is the point trying to predict a future you really cannot know?

If you understand the nature of Bitcoin and the value it brings normally in disruption of the way things were once done in terms of payment and the way we spend, I guess on your own, it will be quite easy for you to believe that the long term is going to be a great one which is why you are investing in the first place and by being an early adopter, you stand to gain a huge chance of benefit at the end.

Volatility will decrease over time as the market matures. Market maturing meaning the price will be many times what it is today as user adoption grows exponentially over the next 5-10 years.

Lightning Network will be used for daily payments and will be used like Android Pay and Apple Pay are used today. It will probably take a decade from say 2020 to 2030 for usage of Bitcoin as a payment medium to become a pretty mainstream thing.

Your question really isn't "what is the future of bitcoin". Your question is much better phrased as "what do you think the movements of the bitcoin markets is going to be in the near future".

Anyhow, I think that at some point in 2019, markets will rebound from the lows that was saw this year. I believe prices could likely drop further before that recovery finally happens, potentially even to $4-5k due to panic sellers and just general bearish sentiments.

But in the second half of 2019, expect the market to be somewhat rejuvenated as that tends to be the length of bear markets in the past. There is also reason to be bullish then due to the 2020 halving, which is likely going to feed into the market's psyche. Overall, while I'm not very optimistic about the recovery happening in the first two quarters of next year, I do think that the last two quarters are going to be much more bullish than what we saw in 2018.

Bitcoin future is always positive so we don't predict the future possibilities and lot of investors are trying to invest in 2019 so surely we should expect 2x to 3x hype in future. Few countries are announced the Bitcoin Legalization and many countries are discussing the Legalization of Bitcoin so surely we should expect some good impact in Bitcoin marketcap.

We could see the markets turn in 2019 due to the anticipation of the halving in the year after that, and the bear market coming to an end or at least, nearing to an end.

I'd say that it's likely markets will bottom at some point in the second half of this year, or in early next year. Obviously, no one can tell for certain, but that's probably the most likely thing to happen just based on what has happened previously within bear markets.

Don't think that all of a sudden markets are going to turn to 2017 levels of bullishness, because that's absurd and probably won't return. But general sentiment should reverse. That's why I think accumulation is the best strategy at this point, with prices this low. We're already nearing recovery.

Yes. Well, I think you are really a newbie, the nature of bitcoin is always believe and trust to it. You can not predict it because of its volatile you can only just hoping for its price to became high. Its all about your strategy how you will earn more bitcoin or other coins. Whatever happens on 2019 still I am here to support the cryptocurrency no matter what.

I think 2019 is looking bright. I mean it all depends on the 2018 and how it will end but if we are going to keep at around these prices for the whole year during 2018 that means 2019 will be holding a great deal of unexploded bull run in the market. The longer we keep this boring bear run the bigger the explosion will be.

In the end even the whales will not be capable of keeping bitcoin under these prices and people will eventually say "enough is enough" and start a buy frenzy and whales will have to follow for not missing out on it and we will have a huge bull run. It all depends if there will be short bull runs to 8-9k range and coming back, if that doesn't happen than we can see another 20k+ during 2019 for sure.

the view is still not clear enough. How not, just look at the current technology of blockchain and cryptocurrency, the application is still very weak, coupled with the intervention of various parties that essentially crypto must have a center so that it also violates the basic rules of decentralized.

so that until now all I know, the main function of crypto and BTC itself is the use of fluctuations in price

Another prediction thread? There are hundreds of these already, OP no one knows what the future of Bitcoin holds. I mean this is a speculation board, I get it, but these threads are getting very tiresome.

Yes Bitcoin is a good investment, yes the price in 2019 will definitely be higher than it is today, yes you should buy some now and Hodl it. We will be at least at $15k by the end of 2019 and I am almost certain of this. The halving hyp in early 2020 will be a big driver in the next bubble. An ETF will be around by then, and institutions will certainly fomo in before the halving.

Just buy as much as possible and hodl! You can't go wrong with that strategy

You have been here since 2016 and you are still confused why you are here ? Bro that is about 2 years, so I wonder what you have actually been doing.
If you have been here all these while and still do not have any understanding of the whole idea of blockchain technology, how bitcoin evolved and what the future is going to be like when decentralization is in play, then I wonder what else you really want to know that can make you less confused than you are.
