It's definitely a sign to stop trusting ICOs, but Bitcoin adoption and hashrate are growing daily. Crypto isn't being abandoned, only scam ICOs.

Crypto will not go out of our lives. While we are obsessed with ISO, and do not understand that the use of crypto can have a very wide application in the life of every inhabitant of the planet, and in the world economic and financial system.

No, crypto is just getting started. Sure, a lot of shit-coins will be abandoned along the way, but they had it coming. I believe less than 10 percent of the current altcoins are going to survive in a couple of years time.
There are only so many examples where the blockchain and the associated cryptocurrencies can be used. After the dust settles, the winners will remain, and if you are holding alts, you just have to make sure you are on the winning side. Hint: if you are not sure, stick with bitcoin.

you are confusing the pump and dumps with the "crypto world".
just because shitcoins that were pumped are not being dumped hard it doesn't mean that the cryptocurrencies are being abandoned. it just means the money that came in each of them in order to grow is now exiting because it has grown as much as it could.
crytocurrencies are still going on as before, the good projects are still working and the top 10 are still the same shitcoin pump and dumps that they were before.

The decreasing price of Bitcoin is caused by excessive news related to altcoin being investigated for price manipulation or fraud, this causes concern for investors, but according to some observers this decline will not be long, Bitcoin will rise again in the near future, this which causes some investors to defend Bitcoin and believe that Bitcoin will be the future.

It seems to me that people's opinion will change radically when we all see serious growth, because so far there is nothing to make people sure that the BTC will not collapse. I think that the outcome of this story is too close.

Abadoned means you are not here and even me, so I think crypto still have millions of investors and supporters because even the market and a lot of ICO are not trusted they have flow of the market. Depends on how you think in cryptocurrency and to the ICO.

I do not yet see any direct threats to the disappearance of the crypto currency. I can say on the contrary, its popularity is growing every day! And the fact that we periodically experience losses and setbacks. This is the norm for the crypto-currency world.

The decline in prices is caused by:
- the fact that Bitcoin has no use other than as a store of value based on scarcity.
- that being listed on the futures market makes it easy to short.
- that the exchanges are unsupervised and easy to manipulate through wash trading.

Why do people come to conclusion that bitcoin or other crypto currency is being abandoned when the price starts to fall? This makes no sense. The price fluctuates, goes up and down which is quite normal. We see the value of dollar or other fiat currency fall but do we say that they are being abandoned? Or do we show them the reasons behind the fall (inflation and stuffs)? Obviously the latter one.

ICO are having a hard time at the moment. Only 8 out of 100 recent ICO manages 2x or better. A lot of the others got destroyed. In a market like this everyone is tethering and looking at Bitcoin. I am on the optimistic side. Despite the low prices there is a lot of people with a lot of money interested in blockchain. All that manipulation of Bitcoin will eventually come to an end as it is not about money or technology but about politics. The technology is unquestionable and here to stay. Also check on projects like Nano, Dexon or Decenternet. P.S. and Consensus AI

Crypto won't be abandoned. Their are many factors that contributed to the decline not just scammy ICO's. Regulations and outright ban is the main reason for this free fall. And as much as there are scam ICO, there are also legit ones born every day. What we might see is smart investing now, people will really scrutinised every project before they pour their cash, so NO, crypto is here to stay.

Yes, but only the number of coins continues to grow, and investors, who in this situation on the market are looking for other ways of income, also inspires Ico. Therefore, I do not think that ICO will be abandoned, but control over them is needed.

I think those who wanted to abandon crypto were those people who has bigger frustrations with bitcoin, because they're weak. That's their mindset and personal perceptions and we can't control it, but even if there's an ongoing crisis against crypto false media behind us I don't give up on cryptocurrency. It won't be abandoned, and instead of losing hope we must help our community grow and promote this to the entire world.

Investors so far see that ICO teams are very difficult to collect even a minimum amount in promising projects. Also, I hope everyone understands that one of the main reasons for this state of ICO is the general fall of the crypto-currency market. The market will go up and the situation will change, including in respect of ICO projects. Meanwhile, we are waiting for the fourth quarter. Many ICOs extend the term of the ICO or transfer it to October and November, expecting a good market growth at this time.

In my own opinion, Cryptocurrency will not be abandoned, but ICOs may loose their trust by investors, except some measures are put in place to keep closer watch on ICO projects.

I think those who wanted to abandon crypto were those people who has bigger frustrations with bitcoin, because they're weak Surely frustration is the word, when the "investor" realizes that he will not have colossal gains like the BTC in the past, he looks for other "opportunities." The big problem is the search for crypto as an investment, not as technology.

It is not the way you are thinking. But what is true is the market is declining and the investors are in a wait and see mode. They are not going away from cryptocurrency, but only are seeing the market. As crypto is the future which all know, the market will not crash as speculated by those against it. Facing difficulties means coming back with strong vigor and enthusiasm.
