I expect it to be rather empty.

net loss generally or specific trades?

If second, I closed some altcoin trades in last 2 days where I lost at least 15 BTC

I have a net loss...of fucks given!  Tongue

Those who have a net loss from trading won't be around long enough to post. They will lose it all or pull out when they realize they can't trade. Few will take the time to learn what they are doing wrong and fix it.

I'm still ahead nicely in the last year, but down since late-Dec and I usually recover faster.

I have made a big return on trading Bitcoins and alt coins in the past four months, however, it has nothing to do with how much I know about trading.

It is simply luck that I got in at 300 and have rolled the dice on some alts that have gone through the roof.

every trader takes a loss, the question is did the trader take enough profit off the table to cover the loss.

I have lost on trades but thanks to btcoins fabulous rise in value I don't think its ever possible for me to be in the negative due to cryptos.

Ok, but luck alone won't give consistent gains over the long term. I wasn't really talking about TA, but more specific errors that a trader makes. Some follow the wrong analysis. Some are too emotional and/or impulsive which leads to many small mistakes, and ultimately, losses.

Drawdown is a fact of daytrading. The trick is to manage the risk during times of indecision, and having a plan to get on the right side for the trends.

It's impossible for me to take a loss because I've withdrawn the principle. I recommend any new trader do this as soon as possible - withdraw your principal. Then you will be much more confident in your trades.

Gee, I'm not sure, let me log into my Bitcoinica account and see how those old positions are doing.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.

I bought a fuck ton* of hashrate from that one site that I won't name, so that I could mine some FLAP.  Man, I felt like a god for a bit because I was dominating the hashrate.  Anyways, that coin hasn't amounted to shit yet.

Hopefully one day I can come back to this thread and say "oh fuck no, I got bundles of money from trading this alt/shit-coin" but until then, I will say I am at a net loss.

I just lost $666.67893978 (and fees on top of that) on Bitifinex getting squeezed out my short by that fucking damn 3K whale on Stamp causing panic buying pushing Bitcoin up above resistance levels. He is most likely operating on Bitfinex also where there is a similarly sized ball of capital pushing the bidding up. I also joined in the momentum long buying so I hope his plans aren't to take a big dump on Bitcoin later on.

This loss however takes a big dent out of my recent profits. Very annoyed by it.

So I am at a net loss for this week (starting today Monday 3rd March), and indeed for the whole month of March so far.

Bitfinex victims. DO NOT TOUCH THE BFX TOKEN! Start moving it around, or trading it, and you will be construed as having accepted it as an alternative means of payment to your USD, BTC, etc.

Jesus Christ, that seems like a good omen.

I have believed for some time that Bitcoin is the crypto spawn of Satan.

An NSA project from its beginnings in the mid 90s, to its deployment into the global arena as some kind of libertarian digital money of freedom.

The blue-print for a NWO global digital currency which will be brought in after Bitcoin blows up one day and wipes out hundreds of billions of wealth and impoverishes masses of people who had put their faith in it.

"Hackers! decentralised nature! backed by nothing! save us!"

They will cry.
