It is big market right now because of economic situations. And what is the ethic of this, it is the question for Tron and its investors...

I do not think that Venezuela will switch to TRON. They already created El Petro. and try to implement it. I think it's more like self-promotion of the TRON.

I guess so too, self-promoting is the best way to get your project out there but still, kinda shitty the way he did it lol it's a country that's basically starving to death

Indeed, you don't want to pitch your offer to dictators, no matter how good or beneficial it might be.

With regard to TRON, he was pitching his crypto as having faster technology when compared to Ethereum (2,000 vs 15 TPS). But I don't think that the speed of transactions plays any role in this situation. The Venezuelan people currently need a store of value, and for that, any reliable cryptocurrency can do. They are certainly not intending to build the entire payment infrastructure based on crypto.

Venezuela is a great market and their economic condition is also good for business. That’s why i also think TRON wants to take advantage from Venezuela.

This is more like self promotional activity from TRON's end. Because Venezuela already has EL PETRO and they would be focusing on that instead of TRON.

There does not seem like any scope for the adaptation of TRON by Venezuela. On top of that, they have EL-Petro on their plate to worry about. This seems more like a self promotional activity of TRON from their end.

Thanks for sharing interesting information. I am sure that you will be able to evaluate the situation. However, I think that TRON is really trying to take advantage of Venezuela situation

They're not trying to take advantage of anything, the guy just wanted to shit on Ethereum and used the opportunity to try to promote his shitcoin.  And tbh, I doubt the Venezuelan govt will listen to Justin Sun, they're more busy trying to destroy Venezuela's economy.

Also, Justin should know that no matter how fast or slow Petro is, investors around the world will not be able to invest in centralized cryptocurrency (which works more like Unit of account) which has been called a scam by crypto related websites. No one cares about Petro so I'm not really sure why TRON even mentioned it, no wonder they deleted the tweet.

The tweet was very immature to be honest, but it is a good thing that it got deleted. Also, a lot of the people believe that it is more like a self promoting action instead.

I don't think that was a clever diss by TRON's founder Justin Sun. Not because of what he tweeted towards Venezuelan government was offensive but it can be insensitive towards the people of Venezuela who are currently suffering from extreme inflation. But, Venezuelan government definitely deserve all the criticism.

It seems to me that in this way the creators of the Tron simply wanted to make themselves advertisements. Maybe they did it, since we talk about them

It seems to me that a lot of time will pass before all people accept the electronic currency and start using it. For many, this is strange and not clear

I don't think the tweet is insensitive, it is just stating the truth even if people dont want to hear it they definitely can ignore that the economy in venezuala is completely ruined.

I think that it is a logical move to take advantage of a bad situation and offer a realistic solution to improve things, right now the government of Vevezuala cant handle the inflation of its currency and its cryptocurrency petro or whatever its called is nowhere to be seen.

It is probably for the best to switch to an international system (crypto) now before their situation gets even worse.

I don't think that will happen because Venezuela already has their own cryptocurrency which is Petro that has been created by their government just to make sure the growth of their country in the future is secure.

I judge there is no advantage what Tron will take from Venezuela. Venezuela have successfully launched Petro, but Venezuela's economic situation has not recovered, I think the Venezuelan government continues to focus on developing Petro and therefore they will not think of anything including Tron.

I think Tron is just acting like a company in general, they are trying to do business and offer their products, I think let the Venezuelans judge whether Tron is the solution to the economic chaos they experience, I think we should be wise in responding to this news, no need to react strongly.
