Take a look at QQC which is ASIC proof and highly undervalued at the moment. Could be the next big thing as everybody reads its name from time to time but nobody is paying attention as there is no marketing hype.

I'll also watch out for TIPS as the devs seem to be pretty skilled and active, as the comunity, too. Community and devs just need to find together

And of course new technology will rise interest so NEM is a hot candidate for 2014, too.
