Hello all,
For those who want Bitcoin to reach outside of the geek domain and into regular-ish users, it would be wise to plan a professional logo (think Paypal, Visa), color scheme, and perhaps even site templates for related third party services (e.g. website, forum, market, auction, financial services,...).
The more professional (and genuine!) the Bitcoin brand appears the more it inspires merchants and consumers to adopt it.
Last thing we want is a fragmented, convoluted image to convince outsiders to entrust their accumulated-perceived-value-faith in.
Just think how good we'll look when the fiat funny money shows its true face value!
