Had just about enough of hearing bull about solidcoin. I would really like to propose to have it completely removed from this section.

Its pointless waste of time. its not decentralised its not a viable currency its just a joke by a bunch of people in my eyes. Its ruining the section of the board. This used to be my favour place to hover to hear new ideas and concepts now its just populated with crap abotu solidcoin.

Nobody gives. It sucks. we get it. Dont mine it etc etc.

Cant we have it all either deleted or moved to some other place on the board? It no longer fits this category anyway.

Here's a horrifically biased idea: start promoting encoin! It solves pretty much every problem with bitcoin and any of its alternates. It is far from being software yet, but by raising awareness and interest, the likelihood of that happening increases. And more encoin posts means solidcoin threads get off the first page quicker. I've thought CH should have the scammer label for quite a while now.  The mods disagree.

But now the mods are just letting some guy use their board to promote his scam.  The guy can arbitrarily control the money supply, invalidate peoples coins, etc.  How that's not a scam, I'm not sure.

But the longer the mods let it stand the more respect I lose for them.

Is there any way I can get this moved to the meta section? Maybe add a vote to it?

I suggest deleting or locking this thread and just starting a new one.  Though I thought thread creators had the ability to move posts, I honestly am not sure.

You could try going to the Meta subforum to make the case that Solidcoin is not an actual cryptocurrency, so it shouldn't be allowed to be promoted in here.

Based on that suggestion, I've started a thread in meta for that discussion.
