check the pci-e 1x adapter and try to move it. On some old versions of risers I had the same issue. maybe USB cable lifted that adapter up a little.
I hope you connected riser to PCi-E 16x SLOT 1 and not to PCi-E 1x slots.

Did you check & fix motherboard's BIOS / mining options?
Default settings not enabled for multiple GPU mining default as I remember.

You need to check the BIOS settings on your motherboard, I don't remember well but it should have 4G option enabled in order to run multiple graphic cards in the H81 Pro BTC board. Also make sure you connect your monitor through the VGA port or DVI from your motherboard and choose first graphics display as onboard graphics, this way you will no problems with your GPU-s and you will also not burden them with the display which would cost you a few mhs less in the card connected directly to the monitor.

Your explanation isn't specific enough to describe what actually your problem is. Does it happen with one card only plugged? As you describe in this sentence:

Now i have attached 1 of the sapphire nitro rx 580 graphic cards to the motherboard as well as to the power supply......

Or you have plugged one card while you are doing Windows installation? And everything goes smoothly at that time.

You should explain more about this:  (related to the previous explanation) I felt a bit confused about that.

..but if i connect the usb riser to the motherboard the system wont turn on....!

Let's try to giving you some suggestion.

Have you checked that you been plugging power from PSU to your riser?

When you were turning on your rig, are you using the card as the display? Or iGPU?

Change PCIe setting to Gen1 or Gen2 on bios. Don't forget to add extra power (the 2 Molex power to your mobo - near PCIe socket), Yes, that only required when we are using more than three cards, but in some case, that thing causing our rig won't boot (I forgot which thread that discusses it). Also, you can try CMOS reset (through battery or jumper) Good Luck!  Wink

"system wont turn on" you mean when you hit the power button nothing happening ? cpu cooler fan not spinning at all ? video cards fans not spinning up for a few second ? or all this happening but you can not see anything on the connected monitor ?

Well, in my own rig the 3 cards doesn't work if you didn't put the 2 molex cable to the motherboard so I think you need to put the 2 molex cable to the motherboard.
Anyway, my motherboard is h110 btc pro so I think h81 motherboard looks the same as h110 btc pro.

he said that he installed windows 10 with one card and after that he just changed that one card with a raiser and not directly to  mobo. So more likely other issues like faulty raiser / bios settings -> update bios to latest one , 4G enabled . Also look what other people asked about any beeping sounds etc.

Yeah, that's right, I've read a few threads about it  (As I said above - that's also happened to H81), but I forget which threads. I was also using H81, but I never faced the same similar things, plugged three cards without two extra Molex connected isn't makes my rig won't boot. But OP should try it!
