First post updated.
Release v0.4.5.0 Mandatory Update

Thanks for keeping the thread updated.

Can you shorten the subject of the thread?
So it looks a little cleaner, Just:
[ANN] FlutterCoin (FLT) POW, POS, and NEW Proof-of-Block

Well, I try to make it a bit more informative than that, but I see what you mean, it's getting too crowded indeed.
Let me see what I can do.

Just updated, are you guys using the 32 or 64 bits windows version?
I had troubles with 64 bits on launch (0.4.4.7 I think, it crashed on startup), and been using the 32 versions since.

I'm using 64 bit of the 4.5.0 version and have had no problems at all. I just deleted everything in the appdata folder except config and wallet and resintalled.

Same procedure for me and 64 bit is working fine.

Thanks for posting this thread LOL been so busy, haven't had time to reply.

I am hoping any of the forking issues will be solved in this release v0.4.5.0 for good, none of my nodes or mining wallets etc have been out of sync in the last  3 days since the previous update, and this update should increase the stability.

There are additions to the block/address matching functions as well, adding another avenue for rewards, just waiting for confirmation that the forking issues ave been resolved (mostly these were caused by pools)

Why is this coin not getting more attention?  Shocked

The dev is really only active over at cryptocointalk, not here. He didn't even post it here at all, not for launch nor after, a third party did. I'm not sure if he's trying to keep it quiet so diff is low for a bit or what, but it is something different, that's for sure! One unfortunate situation is a guy with 220mH has been on it since launch, and was (still is? haven't checked) the majority of the network for days... so as far as distribution of coins... there's a pretty big FLT dump coming from him if this thing hits an exchange.

The launch at cryptocointalk was strategic - I wanted to alleviate any issues before taking on a larger scale influx of mining.  I dealt with the whole CAP clone forking with CGB last year, though CGB never had more than a few little forks, but we were watching it and scouring the code like hawks.  But I knew with the faster block times relative to NVC (I used NVC as a base obviously) there could be issues.

And it was a good idea LOL because there were a lot of issues with forking by the pools, I think this release should help with that, and there are additional features to be added to the address/box matching routines, just have been busy dealing with the forking.

I saw that guy with the 220 Mh/s which was crazy, if I had 220 mH, I'd be going for the sure thing. I only have 4.5 mH LOL

Come and spread some of the hash rate around and mine with the
CrunchHarder FLTCoin Pool for security, redundancy and stability.
