I'm not very knowledgeable with alt coins (still new to the game), but the block count on bitember: http://flt.bitember.com/index.php exceeds the current block: http://explorer.fluttercoin.us/block_crawler.php. Not sure what all those orphans are about either, so I'd be careful. I've been solo mining on and off since the launch with my ~ 2 MH/s. The first day there were forking problems, but since the quick update, everything has been smooth. My block discovery is slow, but I still find a few blocks. Dev is very responsive and I like that they are trying something new. Totally have my support.

The orphans are when they were on the wrong chain when it forked, and downloaded the correct chain...

Problem is because that other pool is mining all the blocks I think? how many people were mining (hashrate) when you left?

Don't think this was the problem, because now with same hashrate (around 20mh/s), they found block every few blocks.

Is it normal that confirming takes very long at the pools? Have a few unconfirmed coins for an hour or so.

But you didn't pay me out yet? Created a manual payout a few hours ago -> no change in balance. Is there some kind of problem? Yes, there was a problem, but it got fixed: Okay let me explain what happend.
The blocks where coming in properly and the wallet is the latest version, so there where no issues there. The payout system of mining pool added the blocks that still needed to confirm to the total amount of the wallet in the database.
The mining pool cannot payout more than is in the wallet, so the payouts halted.
All of this was caused by a small bug in the mpos (mining pool) software.
I updated the mining pool and the database to the latest version and all is running correctly.
The payouts have just been proccesed.
Please PM me or post on this forum if you have a question.
Edited because the issue got fixed and to prevent misunderstandings.

But you didn't pay me out yet? Created a manual payout a few hours ago -> no change in balance. Is there some kind of problem? Yes there is a problem. They don't pay out anyone!! I wrote an email to the support and got the following email back: Hi,
There are no problems with the payout, we are waiting to get the blocks confirmed.
We are running the latest wallet, so don’t worry about that.
I will contact the developer asap what the correct block confirm is.
Regards,
Cloudminers Support I have 14.292 confirmed Fluttercoins and 21.896 unconfirmed Fluttercoins in this pool and had a automatic payout request at 1.000 Fluttercoins and a manual payout request soon after I realized the automatic payout doesn't work. Nothing has been paid out yet. Be careful, I've stopped mining there and suggest everyone else to do the same, at least until they payout the miners.I am looking into this issue right now.

Thanks for fixing this issue. I received my coins as well! Back to mining Just had so much trouble with some pools, that it's hard to trust a pool you don't know yet. Thanks man. We'd love you to come spread some of the hash rate around and mine with the CrunchHarder FLTCoin Pool. In terms of trust, CrunchHarder is run by Vertcoin devs Boris and Aleks, both of whom have a strong pool track record with vtcpool.co.uk and vtc.kilovolt.co.uk and are regulars on this forum and in IRC. https://flt.crunchharder.nethttps://crunchharder.net/images/logo-sm.jpgDedicated Support Helpdesk https://helpdesk.crunchharder.net

I really like this coin now that the fork issues seem to be all worked out.
The dev expressed some interest on CryptoCoinTalk about looking into an exchange - any idea of a good exchange to pursue trading at?

Good question... people can help as well to tell exchanges about us, hopefully they will add the coin without much twisting their arm LOL
I have many things in the works, including the obvious little things website, mac wallet, etc.
Once we are listed on an exchange I can promote the coin through other avenues (not worth doing now because its impossible to invest BTC in the coin at this time without an exchange)
