"Your bitcoin is secured in a way that is physically impossible for others to access, no matter for what reason, no matter how good the excuse, no matter a majority of miners, no matter what." -- Greg Maxwell

Strong as "ever"? You mean, over $1,100? Don't fall for the speculation! Gold had a bump thanks to World War III worries and Bitcoin followed for whatever reason plus some whales got scared that they won't be able to buy back the bitcoins they sold 1-2 weeks ago.

Price is not the only indicator to measure the strength of bitcoin

Price is irrelevant.
The only thing that matters is adoption rate and infrastructure growth.
Speculation is nice, but its why there is volatility.
Every day that goes by however, a substantial foundation is being built into $300, $400, $500 ....
I dare say our "actual price" is $450. Where we bottomed out this time around. Maybe that is Bitcoin's true value as per its current level of adoption around the world.
Good news.

Price is not irrelavant. It reflects its value (that come from its utility and scarcity) along the logic of supply and demand. As it gets to be more used and adopted, it gets to be more valued and the price goes up, ruled by the market. It is the most objective expression of the value of bitcoin.

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

Very well said. What we all need for Bitcoin now is widespread adoption and governments to back off. Price comes second.

Price of bitcoin is not what matters, for the fact we use it and adopt it to our system that makes more sense.
