So I got an extra $300 to invest in Crypto. I already have over $100 sitting in Bitcoin so I was thinking put the rest in an altcoin or two. What do you think the best altcoin to invest in right now is? Only catch to this question is the crypto must be usable at overstock.com in case I want to spend some.
Actually hard and difficult to give advice or suggestion what is best potential altcoins to invest right now, we all knows the market movements isn't a normal. For me in my own choice i still support ethereum even have bad prediction for ethereum become lower upto 200$ their price at the cmc. |

At the moment, price of the best altcoin is really low under $250,I think you should spend your money to buy 1 ETH and spend the left to invest in cryptocurrencies with low price like XRP or ADA  . But don't hope that you can earn a lot of money in just few weeks or maybe just a month  . Try to wait for long time. |

Its very unfortunate for this market but its really a good time for small investors to buy more. You have a good amount to start with so you'd better to buy good coins so you can multiply its value. I still believe on ETH, it can survive even a lot of people are doubting this technology now, yes ADA might be a good alternative for this one but ETH will still remain on top. |

You can put it into Cardano or stick into Ethereum. The positive outlook for these coins drives for a better investment result and yet, it is very considerable to see both coins are competing each others. Even the price isn't just moving up straight but we look into long term investment. |

I think $ 300 will be very suitable for Tron, buy and hold Tron investments for a long time, because Tron has the potential to soar, now Tron prices are very cheap and this is the right time to buy, buy Tron and sell at the right time , I'm sure you will get a lot of benefits from the investment you make.

You can choose ETH for $100 and ADA for $100, the two altcoins have the potential price to return to ATH, especially the ETH which in the year touched the price of $ 1200 and now the ETH price is still berads in the $ 250 range I guess now is the best time to buy and invest for long term don't be affected by price movements that continue to decline like now.

Since the OP seems not be very experienced when it comes to this market then I think it is a good idea to invest all of his money and ethereum, some people are against putting all your money in a single coin but we are talking about ethereum one of the most successful coins in this market and that is very undervalued at the moment, so I do not see the point of having more coins in your investment portfolio. |

Overstock has a very small range of crypto, so I would say ethereum is your best option there. Bitcoin cash is a bit questionable, might be good as it did pump quite high during the last bull run but for reliability I'd go with ethereum. For a more daring choice go for ethereum alternatives like LISK which has more potential for higher gains

I won't give any recommendations but I think you should invest it in a coin that you truly believe in, despite the market fluctuations. But make sure you don't care about losing the money at all. If you want to quickly make big bucks with this, then go look for the most volatile one and try to time it right (I don't recommend this). But if you want a long term investmnet that might become big, just go read up on projects that YOU believe in. |

This is a correct observation, most of the time people invest in coins that they do not know anything about it, they are just looking at the price and not at what is behind the coin, who are the developers? What is the project about? Is there a strong community behind the coin? And so when the price goes down they sell their coins because they do not believe in the project in which they invested. |

XLM is a good one that not only had held its value well this year, the project has been moving along nicely. IBM offers banking solutions with it, you can stake it for interest and it's multifunctional. Recommended researching it

Ripple and neo are best alternative coins investment but much better if choose the strong and most popular coins bitcoin and ethereum surely the massive pump is coming soon |

Buy Ethereum that's all I wanna say. Even though price fell down still I believe on it's technology and it's hype. Everybody should look at their portfolio. More institutional will come in.

I would not advise you to invest now because the possibility of a market situation will still be able to come back down, it would be nice to wait a few more moments when market conditions have recovered a bit, I think that is the best solution at the moment. even though the price is quite low, but no one knows what the future is, because the market is still in a down trend.
