Hello everyone. My name is Alex and I am incredibly new to this forum and the bitcoin community in general. My curiosity was piqued with the announcement of Mt. Gox closing their office. All the BS aside, I like what I have been reading the past week and I am here to stay.

By trade I am a ticket broker, I buy and sell ticket all day long on the secondary market, similar to StubHub. With that being said, I have started a spin-off of the organization I currently work for, the new organization is known as BitTiX. At BitTix we want to facilitate your next ticket purchase with bitcoin. I specialize in the Rocky Mountain area but have access to inventory across the country. I understand fraud is rampant in the bitcoin community and my reputation, or lack there of, in the bitcoin community may damage my  ability to sell my product.

At this point I would like to ask all of you for your insights on how I might be able to gain consumer confidence. I am willing to meet in person and/or use an escrow service. I also have the ability to email many tickets electronically. In some cases only hard-ticket inventory may exist. If this sounds like a service/product members of the bitcoin community would be interested in I am all ears.

Thank any and all of you for your time.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
