No, I didn't face this problem. I think you are trying with vpn. As far as I know , if you use vpn than captcha acting like this. You can try on Google chrome, perhaps you will able to login. Also you can restart your mobile or Wi-Fi to change ip address if you are not using vpn. Sometime clean your browse, especially cache file. Your problem is from your device , connection or Google. Forum has no control for Google captcha. It's just for prevent boot.

What kind of browser are using using? If it is TOR then there really is some issues about solving captchas, please refer to this discussion "Incorrect captcha" with Tor, getting worse?. I used TOR sometimes and it really gives me a problem with the capcha that's why I'm just using a Google Chrome for now. I recommend you to just use another browser like Chrome or Firefox when browsing Bitcointalk (if you don't know how to fix the problem) and make sure that you enable the java script of your browser.

If you want to be anonymous in web, try using VPN. But sometimes VPN's are also the reason why this problem persist.

Also, please use the "Search" function of the forum next time when you're about to create a thread. You can find multiple threads about this problem.

So don't logout your account then if you got problems with it. Unless, you're logging in with many different accounts. I encountered that problem too once.
It's a great hassle for multi-account farmers.  Smiley

Maybe just because i use the "always log me in" feature, i never had any problem with captcha, in fact, i dont even have one in a long time because of this feature. I recommend this feature if you guys only access the forum with only 1 device and is only on safe environment like using the device in your own internet connection, not on public area wifi.

Same issue to me yesterday, sometimes i tried 5 to 8 times solving those captcha and sometime the photo not reflecting also.
I'm wondering maybe in my internet connection, but i have 20mbps speed.
After i experiencing that hard captcha, i don't log out my account anymore maybe you should also.

In my case, I don't always encounter such problems with login when logging into bitcointalk every day (because I don't like the stay logged in feature). Although that is the case, I experienced a similar problem two months ago and from my observations, the login problem was caused by the google captcha thinking that you are a bot. To solve the problem at hand, you only need to use an ISP with a dynamic IP. If you are using VPN, it would be better if you will use a VPN running on your own VPS server or on not widely known VPN service provider.

I've complained about this numerous times, it seems to be that the captcha sometimes loads a faulty session that is either extremely oversensitive to mistakes, or outright broken. Typically, the error is one of two possible types;

1. Images fade in/out extremely slowly, leading the captcha to take up to several minutes to solve, potentially failing entirely.
2. Captcha challenges run into 5+ steps, whereby completing and passing each stage takes you to more than 5 stages before finally providing the verify button, often which actually causes the captcha session to refresh and waste my time further.

I've noticed that this tends to happen more frequently when using Chrome rather than Safari, so perhaps there is some browser detection going on that contributes to the issue. So far, the only resolution I've found is to refresh the page if the captcha images fade in/out slowly, as this is indicative of a faulty captcha session.

I think the main cause of having an extremely slow fading in/ out of captcha is the internet connection. When I am using mobile data in my android phone and when I am away from Wi-Fi connection, solving captcha is so slow like a turtle, it takes more than 2 or 3 minutes before I can successfully log in to my account.

This is also the same when you are using Onion browser.

Nope, actually I thought so too before so I tested it out and the result is, even though you're Internet connection is fast there's still some possibility that you'll encounter error in solving captchas.

Some possible reasons (that I knew):
-Java script is not enabled
-Using VPN
-You've got too many wrong attempts
-Your IP is recognised as bot (happens when you got too many wrong attempts)
-etc....

It maybe because of your browser sometimes we have good internet connection but our browser can't access the internet so try to use the browser like chrome or mozila and then use always remember me option if that is your personal computer in that case you no need to login every time when you want to go to bitcointalk.

But sometime I have a weird problem that I need to solve huge number of capta to prove that I am a human sometime that number of solves goes to 20+,weird right?

I had the same problem couple of times, but I thought its because of low internet connection speed or signal, because of such cases happen to me when I was on the phone from my mobile operator's internet.

I am having problem too. Every time I try to resolve, it brings me the next one. After over 10 (avg) try finally it works.

I had the same problem with Google Chrome, but since I switched to Firefox, I have no more problems with the captcha. I think this is because of the browser you use and not a problem from Bitcointalk.  Smiley
