Bittrex announced they are going to delisted Bitcoin Gold (BTG). From beginning there was a rumor about BTG isn't fork of Bitcoin and it's not supported by Bitcoin community. Look like it was true. It's not good reputation if is a coin delist from a well reputed exchange. For confirmation simply visit : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BTG . They already noticed BTG traders. Already Alt coin market is dump.  After delist from bittrex BTG will more dump. For me BTG is a shit coin. BTG team already scamed huge amount. They will not care about whatever delited from exchange.

I think it will be better sold your BTG if you are a holder.

As a fork with a premine, there was no way the Bitcoin community would support it.

It only goes to show how unstable these forks are to 51% attacks. Weak blockchain networks = weak coins = delisting.

BTG like a lot of other forks such as BCH, BTV,... have been a fork of bitcoin which we call fork_coin and it has always been an altcoin. there has never been any doubt about it!

Bittrex is very far from being a "well reputed" exchange. they are scammers.
and them delisting a coin only means one thing, that the trading volume of that coin on their platform has not been enough for them to make profit.

For me BTG is a shit coin.

Probably the reason Bittrex removed Bitcoingold because the coin was not too popular, had a low reputation and a weak price that caused investors to be uninterested in Bitcoin gold.

Essentially Bittrex lost money due to the 51% attack, and wanted the BTG team to compensate them for 50% of the loss, and they would cover the other 50%. The BTG team refused, and so Bittrex have now planned to delist BTG. As I said in the other thread, I don't think it is reasonable to expect the exchange just to absorb the loss and continue to trade your coin - if your coin is a security risk, and you refuse to compensate them, they are well within their rights to stop trading your coin.

Weak security coins are bad for cryptocurrencies in general.

That POS known a BitcoinGold should have never been lsited in the first place.  What the hell was it purpose?  Hopefully these types of hard forks end up going away at a certain point as they are absolute garbage and cause unneeded loses from noobs.

I'm happy to see it happens. Bitcoin Gold (BTG) is not a good fork and I didn't support it since early time. The security level of BTG is too weak. After Bittrex, I hope to see HitBTC, Binance and OKEx delist Bitcoin Gold (BTG) too.

Well it is surprising that BTG is getting delisted from bittrex and I am so happy that i have already sold all my BTG before this news happened, If not I will be feeling terrible at the moment, bittrex is always know for delisting coins. The more reason I no longer trade with them.

Is this news a good bye to BTG? I think this news will make the coin to dump so hard in this bear market and who knows if it will recover if it eventually dumps? well right from time, I am not a fan of all these bitcoin fork.

Too bad for the coin, it's has started dumping already because of the delisting, I don't really support these coins from fork, I see them as been greedy because they could contribute and make the existing project better instead of making the fork of the coin.

Honestly, they have so many awareness that remind them to not invest in this shitcoin. How many times a lot of people have been creating more and more awareness. It will die with its pre-mined coin.
Everyone should remember to not keep this shitcoin. This will become a very bad thing to all of the coin holders.
