Incorporating the most recent technologies, this start-up builds a new business model that will surely make progress on the way we monitor, survey and prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Headquartered in France and the US, Farasha is designing next generation cardiovascular prevention services at a global scale. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

By 2012, Farasha team designed the first watch to measure blood pressure shifting from the traditional inflating-cuff method to a combination of sensors and a new software. The entire solution offered by Farasha is hosted in the Blockchain. Why? Because security of the information (i.e. electrocardiograms), time-efficiency and lower costs are of the essence. Data in the blockchain is encrypted and hashed and Farasha wanted to guarantee safe and reliable transfer of information between patients and health providers. Being the user sovereign of its data in a decentralised environment, the start-up also reduced the liability of having users data in the first place.

Time-efficiency was also critical. Blockchain will speed pre-authorization and enable timely treatment of dossiers as well as accurate payment to the provider. The goal will be real-time determination of benefits, with the blockchain ledger shared among the stakeholders.

Finally, the third reason to rely on the blockchain is the FLB coin: a cryptocurrency created by Farasha as the only payment method accepted to use its services. This peer-to-peer version of electronic cash accelerates transaction settlements (national & international) and lowers its costs due to the absence of third parties or exchange rates.

How E-CARDIO Works?

FOR THE USER

A user can access at any time to E-CARDIO (the virtual cardiologist) in order to get a quick check-up. Regarding these first results, a user (athlete, patient…) will face 4 cases:
1) Nothing detected
2) The user needs a follow-up to keep an eye of his cardiovascular condition and need to use ENEA (Machine learning) to get a projection of his status in 6 months or years and use an active alert system. ENEA can propose at any time, regarding user conditions a tele-consultation with a cardiologist, a check-up with other specialist, other analysis to control the risk he is likely to face and at the same time will offer a complete and graduated training program using YUPI PLATFORM which will help him decrease the risk and keep a good shape as being out of trouble.
3) E-CARDIO considers that the risk level is too high and the visitor needs a quick consultation with a cardiologist and in this case, it will display the list of cardiologists available for the user in his native language.
4) When the risk is at its highest point, ENEA considers that it’s a real emergency and will ask the user to go immediately to the hospital for a complete consultation.


FOR THE CARDIOLOGIST

A cardiologist will receive a notification when a user books a tele-consultation with him or requests an immediate diagnosis for his ECG or other medical data. The cardiologist will proceed and deliver the diagnosis in the following minutes and receive the payment with FLB coins just after delivering the diagnosis or after the end of the tele-consultation.

In case of a specific analysis, the cardiologist can share the user-data with another health provider in order to help him deliver an advanced diagnosis. All data shared will be secured with FARASHA blockchain ecosystem.
