Ethereum Staking Soon

Hello everyone, I know that eth will resort to add PoS staking method on their platform. Hence said, will the team give up on PoW cause this is what power their mining part on their network. Or they will totally shift to PoS. From what I understand, they will only add this consensus but still will use PoW to maintain both mining and staking. Could this be possible? Or should I say, am I right with my statement?

I've been delighted to discuss this topic to all visionary and tech genius out there. I'm really fond of ethereum project and will support them until the end. Hopefully someone can discuss here what will happen next for ethereum. I'm not talking about price speculation but rather tech development. Thanks

I think from what I have read about this proof of stake development in Ethereum blockchain,they want to operate both consensus mechanism, that is Proof of work(POW) and proof of stake(POS), however they have to move fast because of other emerging killer technologies.

It would be a good chance to make a good profit for the near future.ETH's position is just after Bitcoin in terms of market price.This is the best time to collect ETH, because its presnt price is much low, and prediction says, it will be higher before the end of this year. i have no idea how ethereum prices effected with pos rumours. most of pos coins prices  not reached over 20+ usd. it should be decreased ethereum prices.

This is a good decesion. The best time of collecting coin is when its price is low like bear market conditions. ETH prices is under prediction. It has been said that 80% of Its price remaining. But wise prediction is very soon its price will increase. So i think it is the best time to collect/Buy ETH righ now.

I think this will not be a good idea to use both methods. But eth needs to shift its consensus method from proof of work to proof of stake for the betterment of its security and processing system. A late in the shift of consensus can hamper the eth.

Whatever they do they have to do soon, Seems like people are loosing faith in project as they are stalling upgrades and postponing year after year.

The problem I have with Staking Pools is that you have to give your money (ethers) to a third party and this worries me. Is there anyway to eliminate the third party risk via smart contracts?

Not sure about that, you can see that whole of crypto go down a lot. and another copycat platform of ethereum has been doing the same like it. they are all getting down more and more. Another blockhalving will come but the dev core of ethereum still tested the casper pos and it needs more time to go.

Do we have to use a 3rd party to stake?  ARen't we just using the wallet that we can install to do that?

The casper I think was still being developed which is why its being postponed but it had been mentioned several times on their update. I'm sure the rest of us are aware of how to do it but the profit is what I'm concern of as security can be resolved easily.

once ETH move up it will be a good start and do know that it will happen too soon.

ETH is very universal alt coin and it could be used almost everywhere in the crypto's world. Staking of this alt coin takes place on the crypto market so often that it has brought a lot of disagreements about this doing's profitability and vitality at all. I suppose that it will be in the future work too.

Give me the link of your community of ETH lovers. Why do you support smth till the end? It brings losses, obviously! It looks like a fanaticism. Be realistic and evaluate both pluses and minuses!
