Twitter is pretty amazing now isn't it.  Anything can be seen by millions of people in moments!  I heard Ellen sent all of her other tweets via iPhone though haha.

Can you believe that this was Brad Pitt's first ever Oscar win?  And it was as a Producer not as an Actor?

Did anyone else watch?  What did you think?

The surprising revelation comes via the Los Angeles Times: "All the same, two Oscar voters privately admitted that they didn't see '12 Years a Slave,' thinking it would be upsetting. But they said they voted for it anyway because, given the film's social relevance, they felt obligated to do so."

During her Oscars monologue, host Ellen DeGeneres made reference to that kind of thinking with a joke about how the evening might go: "Possibility number one: '12 Years a Slave' wins Best Picture. Possibility number two: You're all racists."

It's been ~15 years see I watched the spoiled stars play with each other. Hope you liked it though.

I watched and I was completely pissed off Gravity for winning so many awards.

That movie was complete shit.  I watched it in 3D because tons of people were like "ZOMG YOU HAVE TO SEE IT IN 3D" and I was just pissed that I spent money on that and not The Hobbit, which I downloaded a DVDRIP of and watched it at home.   Best Director?  You gotta be fucking kidding me... this chick went to and maneuvered through two foreign space stations like it was nothing?  I love Sandra Bullock, but that shouldn't have even been nominated for Best Picture.  If it would have won, I would have broken something.

Besides... David O'Russell, Martin Scorsese AND Alexander Payne all lost to the directing of that shitty flick?

So sad that Leonardo hasn't got Oscar again! I was sure they will finally give him Oscar but they gave it to Matthew McConaughey - also a good option  Smiley but Leo is better!

Why should I watch the trash of society getting prices for that?

No signature ad here, because their conditions have become annoying.

I find that Jonah Hill has all the improvisation experience needed to be a great actor and he's proven that in Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street. I honestly don't get the hate people have for him.

Not after Stalingrad dropped out of the run...

“Dark times lie ahead of us and there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right.”
“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”
“It is important to fight and fight again, and keep fighting, for only then can evil be kept at bay, though never quite eradicated.”

I had lost my interest in Oscars long ago. They never give awards to the best movies. They only give them to the most politically correct ones. Seriously, I thought that The Wolf of Wall Street was much better than 12 Years a Slave.

Why Leo didn't get Oskar Huh

Because some people thought it was politically incorrect to award him as the best actor. But I have to say that Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street was a hundred times better than Matthew McConaughey in Dallas Buyers Club.
