According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

How do you buy something if it's not sold? I won't sell my btc if your willing to donate the $100. Either way I need this money in my account for some experiments I want to conduct.

Looking for an escrow to help complete this transaction, it would be best to get someone who has escrowed bank transfers.
