It's not just ETH that falls drastically, but almost all cryptocurrencies including bitcoin. Some said that it is about panic selling cause by the news regarding trashing the plan of Goldman Sachs bank about cryptocurrency trading desk. But don't worry, the market will recovwr again.

This is a grave crisis that is happening to ethereum right now. It's been sitting at the price 280$ and up but confidentially fall within the span of 3 hours is a very alarming event.

ETH crash is the hot topic since a month now. No one knows whats wrong with this blockchain because where it headed to the 1200 last year, it was the best project of all time and then it dumped all the way down to 800 USD this year. Everyone thought that this is might because of BTC and the rest market and nothing else but soon ETH started to revert back to its original prices of 300 bucks and thus shook everyone from their chair!! May be this heavy drop led most of the people to dump the ETH even further and thus as of now things are getting converted into the worst case scenario for the ETH. May be its the highly increased sell wall which is not letting it come up and most of the people are scared to invest into it.

I agree. Many investors have clearly lost faith in Ethereum after its price depreciation recently which has led many to believe that this might not be the best altcoin overall in the cryptocurrency market, but I am not one of those investors. I still strongly believe that Ethereum is the best alternate cryptocurrency ever created in the crypto space and I am confident that it will rise back up in the future once Bitcoin begins rallying like crazy again which is why I am HODLING my ETH at the moment.

ETHEREUM will continue to slide in price because of too many ICOS within its eco system. More and more ICOS raise funds and dump their ETH so they can go on with operating for as long as possible, or just scam directly and dump the ETH, as we have no new money in Crypto and only speculators who take profits every few days, we just see this downward spiral. Until big new money comes in don't expect miracles if you are an ETH holder. Nothing good is happening right now with the price and it will continue to fall as more ICOS dump their stashes.

I think 10% for coin second place on coinmarketcap is too much. I think perhaps the capital mobilization projects are selling out the ETHs that they have mobilized investors

I personally think ethereum is currently experiencing a crisis of trust from investors, in general cryptocurrency as well. This can be caused by the many ICO projects that were present, but only a few were successful, and many ended in scams, so many investors suffered losses.

This market is being manipulated.  I believe it was being manipulated on the way up as well.  They are shaking the hell out of us attempting to gather up cheap coins before they approve ETF and have the masses come in to get slaughtered.  For them to slaughter the sheep they need high prices for them to buy into.  Just chill and wait.

Well bitcoin is not worrying me but ethereum is worrying me alot...when it can down to 285usd i thought it can not go down even more but what the hell just happened...the ethereum has just kept going down and down and now it is at 200 usd

at least until today, no one believed in these predictions that sounded for several months. All expected only positive changes in the crypto-currency market since September 1. But the reality turned out to be quite different.

I think this is due to the fact that Ethereum is involved everywhere. It's too much. And the big whales are manipulating the Ethereum course. Now I think they underestimate the price of Ethereum, because many plateaus will sign new contracts for Ethereum.  Now they purchase, and when the price will grow they're going to. the conventional investors!

Ethereum is good for ICOs because it is a popular and trusted platform. People will put up with it being slow and bloated simply because they know that it works. There are much better blockchain projects such as NEO that they can use instead, it is quicker and has mass appeal across Asia.

I think the latest situation is manipulation of the market to get panic and sell ETH. Week hands will loose if sell,
and wales will make profit when it recover. Seen so many times.
