Hello,

I was wondering if there is any way to discuss Bitcoins in the Mirc channels using a web service? Would be convenient not having to download and configure the client, plus less of a security risk if I don't.

Yeah, most irc servers have a web client, which can be easily found.
Not sure which server you want. Perhaps freenode? Try this link, anyway.

Try webchat.freenode.net and specify the channel when you login eg #bitcoin.

I'm using Tor and most web based IRC services didn't seem to let me in.

Nope, doesn't let me in either, only accepting Tor-SASL.
