Seems like alot of people have been having bad experiences with bit-mining.co recently, and having been stalling people in the chat box with 'Expect responses from admin soon', it seems like that was just a stalling method till they found out how to restrict users chat privileges.

My bad experience was when i bought a sell order that didn't exist, resulting in me loosing 5.6LTC for 0.067KS (Over 1000 times the market price). Seems like Bit-Mining chose to honour my order rather than let it go through at market rate.

So they owe me $70ish.

Seen alot in the chat recently about missing transactions, some payout not occurring on some days, and looking back through the history, it seems to have gone on for a while.

I Advise you to all do what a few of us have done, run with what money you have left. Cex have a similar value per ks anyway.

Alternatively, try Pbmining.com - (Not using my referral link out of courtesy.)

So I had several points of contention, however, now that I'm reviewing, it seems that this site is having some issues.  I'm trying to contact the owner.  I have his number saved (he's changed his whois info since I found his number last time I had an issue & couldn't get support), so if I don't hear back soon, I'll be calling him and posting that number here.

It's his personal cell number, I believe.

This, is pure fud.

I was actually in the chat box when this shit went down. the last few days, a few people spamming referral links have been dominating the chat, saying dumb shit and generally making it difficult to have rational conversations. I had a legitimate issue (trying to reverse a pending withdrawal back into my account) that couldn't get satisfied because of the ridiculous demands these guys were making in chat. there was a hiccup in the div payments that was fixed (I've gotten every payout i expected so far) but i believe the trolls in the box werent actually real people. Im happy that you cant just log on to site anymore and spam bullshit, you need a minimum balance now like the btce trollbox. Upgrade!

In fact, if this was the guy spamming the pbmining link in the chatbox, your whole post is a shill attempt imo. I missed getting my funds to havelock in a timely fashion because you don't know how to input a fucking buy order! Still pissed aboout this

There are some questionable points, however, the chat doesn't work for me (I have BTC in my acct & about 10 GHs - should be enough to allow me to chat....), and I have had some less-than-desirable experiences with Sarif's response times as well.

That being said:

1.  OP shouldn't blame the site for his errant buy order.
2.  I'm interested to know where OP found the "chat history" - this is not an extant feature, as far as I'm aware.

I won't be posting his number, however, I will be calling him soon

Haha not me, i dont spam referral links, or 'once in a lifetime investment opportunities'; or i would of put a referral link in my first post....

I know, i missed up the GHS/KS box (was on my phone) but see the below point why what happened is not an acceptable outcome.

Absolutely i can, any market that allows you to trade outside of market value is pure shite. You shouldn't be able to buy above market price, and you certainly wouldnt expect to buy below market price.

Also, by chat history, im referring to historic chat i have seen, not an actual log.

I second BitChrisUK. I had the same problem -- orders filling in at arbitrary (instead of market) prices, and they pocket the change. Support said it was my fault. I lost 3.3 LTC in this process. Shame on you, bit-mining.co.

Other than this incident, things have been OK so far. The site seem down now, though.

Hello Bit-Miners,

In the last few days we have been experiencing a few technical issues at Bit-Mining, which has been made more difficult by a recent wave of spammers and pool/site attacks.

I would like to make it clear to all our users that there was never a missed payment. The issue with the discrepancy in History was the Date; the date was inaccurate as the script can take a few minutes to go through all user accounts and can process your payout after midnight.

Let me address another user issue. We have had certain users placing bids much higher than the asks in orderbook, who then feel taken advantage of when the order is excuted by the orderbook. A bid is a formal contract to purchase X shares at X price. When you enter a bid or ask into our system, it attempts to satisfy this contract at the parameters the user provides (both the number of shares purchased and the proposed price). This is a free market; this is intentional to allow you to purchase or sell as you see fit. We do not accept responsibility for a lack of user dilligence in this matter. Please review all orders carefully before you click the "SUBMIT" button.

Due to all the spammers, trolls and attacks (on both the site and the pool) we have received recently, our Chat has been limited ONLY to users who have a minimum of 0.5 BTC, 25 LTC, 10 GHs or 100 Khs in their accounts. We took this decision to prevent further abuse of the chat system, which was becoming rampant. If you have any issues in the future, please use our newly implemented Ticket System at bit-mining.co/support or email us at Contact@Bit-Mining.Co.

We again apologize to users that may have been affected by these attacks on our service and assure you we are still committed to providing a superior user experience at the most competitive prices we can provide. The backlog of "fake" user issues made it very difficult for us to resolve legitimate issues in a timely fashion these last few days. We doing our best to try to fix everything and add new features; but this is becoming harder as we are getting spammed and attacked daily, which is slowing down our resolution times. We sincerely appreciate your continued use of our service and will endeavour to continue improving our site. All user suggestions and feedback are taken very seriously and many are intended to be implemented in the near future.

If you have any questions or concerns about any of the recent changes, please email us at contact@bit-mining.co. We would love to hear your feedback.

You should then have a note saying this explicitly wherever the user can enter an order, because this is not how a normal exchange works.

This kind of is a weird post from me, since I already left once...
BUT!

I don't think you should leave for screwing up yourself...
Yes, it s*cks what happened, but you can do that at almost every website I know..

At Cex, I can buy GHS more expensive than market order, same for Cryptsy, TheRockTrading and any other website where users can sell anything themselves!

For instance, you want to buy a car, but you have to much money, so you buy the 5000 dollar one instead of the 2000 dollar one, while they have the same specs.
IT HAPPENS!

I REALLY think it's your own fault for screwing up.

Next time, check what says.

Also a tip: you can click on the highest bid / ask on the list and it automatically fills that in on the sell/buy form.
Scroll back to the top to click on your amount of BTC / LTC and it automatically gives market order pricings for you ^^

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding here, and you are missing the point. You can obviously buy at a higher price, but in normal exchanges (CEX/Cryptsy/etc), the order will complete at market price.

Consider a simple order book for buys (KS/LTC):

Total on sale: 120 KS total
seller 1: 0.07 10 (sell 10 KS at 0.07 LTC each)
seller 2: 0.08 10 (sell 10 KS at 0.08 LTC each)
seller 3: 0.1   100 (sell 100 KS at 0.1 LTC each)

Suppose I place an order for buying 5 KS at 1 LTC each (5 LTC total) (Here, I meant to type 0.1 LTC, but I made a mistake and typed 1 LTC). What happens?

In a normal exchange (CEX/Cryptsy/etc), the sale goes through at market price. I will get KS until all my LTC gets filled up. Since I placed an order for 5 LTC, I would eat up the first order (10 KS at 0.07 = 0.7 LTC); the second order (10 KS at 0.08 = 0.8 LTC), and part of the third order (35 KS at 0.1 = 3.5 LTC). Therefore, I would get 10+10+35 = 55 KS in return for my 5 LTC total.

In bit-mining.co, I would just get 5 KS for 5 LTC. The buyer spends 5 LTC, the seller (in this case, the top one) gets 0.07*5 = 0.35 LTC, and the rest (5-0.35=4.65LTC) is pocketed by bit-mining.co.

I hope this makes things clear.

Spammers? You mean people requesting support right?

As for the technical issues, read this forum thread about your faulty market.

If an opposite sell order does not exist, then how can an order be executed? Free market? Keep that crap tucked away; you mean we can buy at market price (The cheapest sell order), but if we enter an order that is of benefit of Bit-Mining against other users (Way above the most expensive sell order), then Bit-Mining fulfils the order as opposed to letting the transaction go to market.

And it isn't possible to buy as we see fit, i tried to reverse my transaction by selling at the same rate i purchased and unsurprisingly, the order was not fulfilled.

You shouldn't be able to buy and sell above market rate!

Fix what? The faulty market orders?

How was my purchased order competitive? 1000 Times the market rate?

I wish I knew this before, AVOID Bit-mining.co it's a scam. A week ago I purchased some KSs and never received anything, when I tried to ask for it in the chat I think they banned me. If you want to be involved in mining probably it's best to buy stocks of mining companies, there are a few that pay dividends often and the shares do not loose value over time.

Aaaaah, now I get what you meant, but I don't think the last part is true, about them cashing the difference. I think it actually gets sold at the price the user states, not at market price

I just logged into my bit-mining.com acocunt and found that .42 BTC had been withdrawn to someone else's btc address: 1FGwZw5cQaupbzFuZFxAbtNE7h9Q1xFaH1

I also found that someone put up all my GH for sale.  I canceled that sell request, enabled 2FA, and now I am in the process of selling my GH and leaving bit-Mining.com

Their security cannot be trusted, and their customer service is way too inefficient. It is time to leave bit-mining.co

This is the entry in my history: -0.4205121   04.09.14   withdraws   1FGwZw5cQaupbzFuZFxAbtNE7h9Q1xFaH1

When I look at https://blockchain.info/address/1FGwZw5cQaupbzFuZFxAbtNE7h9Q1xFaH1
it indicates that the address has not yet been used, so that means that my bitcoin is still at bit-mining.co.
Please cancel that transfer out of bitcoin.

For awhile, bit-mining.co seemed like something good, but they have poor security and poor customer service.
